We will be in Moab Monday, April 20th through Monday, April 27th and will be staying in an Airbnb with some immediate family members. Other guests are opting for Airbnbs/VRBO or hotels. Based on our research, here are two hotel recommendations:

Denver International Airport (DEN)

The drive from Denver to Moab is a popular road trip known for its scenic beauty, transitioning from the Rocky Mountains to the Utah desert. The direct route via I-70 takes about 5.5 hours.

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)

The drive from Salt Lake City to Moab, Utah, is a scenic 230-240 mile journey through diverse landscapes, taking roughly 3.5 to 4.5 hours without stops. The route typically involves traveling south on I-15, then merging onto I-70 East and finally heading south on US-191 to Moab.

Regional Airlines

Canyonlands Field Airport (CNY) is the closest airport, located 18 miles north of Moab. Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) located in Grand Junction Colorado (110 miles from Moab - 1 hr 45 min drive), provides the closest option for most airlines.

Dress code is spring casual (sundresses and button down/jeans or slacks). Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026 Location: Red Earth Venue Address: 545 UT-313, Moab, UT 84532 Time: 4:30pm - 9:30pm There is parking available at the venue, but all cars MUST be removed by the end of the reception (No later than 10pm). Uber is extremely limited in Moab so please plan car rides/carpool accordingly. Thank you!

Wedding After Party

Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026 Location: World Famous Woody’s Tavern Address: 221 S Main St, Moab, UT 84532 Time: 10pm following reception Following the reception at Red Earth Venue, we invite you to continue the celebration at World Famous Woody’s Tavern. The bar has welcomed our group to stop by and enjoy the evening. The bar is open until 1:00 a.m. and is conveniently located within walking distance of many hotels and Airbnb accommodations in the area. Ubers are extremely limited in Moab so please plan rides accordingly. We will be changing into comfy clothes (sweatsuits) so feel free to join us in casual outfits or your ceremony attire. Whatever you feel most comfortable in!

Gifts are greatly appreciated but not expected. Your presence at our celebration is gift enough! We are so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest friends and family. As we're keeing it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding RSVP can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation when you RSVP.

Is there parking at the Red Earth Venue?

Answer

There is parking available at the Red Earth Venue. However, all cars MUST be moved from the venue no later than 10pm on Saturday. Cars are NOT allowed to be left overnight.
