Hotel
We don't really have a strict date yet, but to be determined. Safely can say you have until at least January 2027, will provide more information in the future.
To enter Colombia, you must have: - A passport valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date. - Proof of an onward or return flight. - A completed Check-Mig form. This is a mandatory, free immigration form that must be submitted online between 72 hours and 1 hour before your flight.
It's easiest to fly into El Dorado International Airport (BOG) and then take another flight to El Edén International Airport (AXM), located about 30 minutes from the hotel/wedding venue. We will be providing transportation from the airport to the hotel from Thursday afternoon to Friday morning. A shuttle will be available every 2 hours or so. There's also local taxis if you do not want to wait for the shuttle.
Yes. The wedding ceremony will be held at Hotel Hacienda Combia (https://maps.app.goo.gl/zRaiWHnpTTG9r4ec9) so it'd be extremely convenient to reserve there. To book your accommodation, please contact the hotel directly. When making your reservation, be sure to mention that you are attending Wendy & Tyler's Wedding (May 6th & 8th, 2027). You can reach the hotel to secure your room via: WhatsApp: +57 321 848 1270 Email: directorgeneral@combia.com.co
Since you are making the trip to Colombia for our wedding, your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. Please no physical gifts. If you really want, please bring something interesting to share (not money). Tyler is interested in cool coins and Wendy is interested in paintings.
Armenia is situated in the Coffee Axis at an elevation of roughly 4,800 feet, which means it has a mild, temperate climate year-round (typically highs in the 70s to low 80s Fahrenheit, with cooler evenings). The dress code for the ceremony and reception is tropical formal. We would love to see expressive and colorful clothing while maintaining an elevated level of dress. Please do not wear black or pastel colors.
We recommend going to Medellin, Bogota, and Cartagena. Depending on the amount of time you have available, we think spending 2-3 days in each city is enough to have a great experience.
