Tyler and Mady's story began at Burn Boot Camp in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where they worked together for nearly a year without ever exchanging words. The first time Tyler made a move was when he invited Mady to join him at the lake. Although she was initially intrigued, Mady hesitated, suggesting they get smoothies instead. She felt uncertain since they hadn’t really had a chance to get to know each other yet. Tyler soon moved to Charlotte, NC, before they could go for those smoothies, leaving Mady to think they would never see each other again. But a month later, Tyler made a surprise return to Murfreesboro and dropped what would become his most memorable line: when Mady asked him why he had come back, he simply replied, “You still owe me a smoothie.” That was all Mady needed to hear. Their smoothie date marked the beginning of something special. From then on, Tyler continued to ask Mady out, and she happily said yes each time. Eight months later, they are engaged and thrilled to begin their life together. With Christ at the center of their relationship, Tyler and Mady are excited to embark on their journey as a married couple.

We will be doing an intimate ceremony with immediate family on August 17th, 2024.
