Our journey began in 2010 at church in Charlotte, North Carolina. As teenagers, we met and formed a connection that, even then, felt divinely orchestrated. On March 20, 2011, we went on our first date, marking the start of a bond that would evolve over the years. Life took us on separate paths, each filled with personal growth, challenges, and moments of reflection. We reconnected briefly in 2017 and again in 2020, each time recognizing the unique connection we shared, yet understanding that the timing wasn’t aligned with God’s plan. In late 2024, our paths crossed once more, leading to an ice cream date that reignited the spark between us. On March 20, 2025—exactly 14 years after our first date—we shared another ice cream outing, symbolizing a new beginning and a reaffirmation of our love and commitment. Throughout our journey, we’ve come to understand that God’s timing is perfect. Each season apart was a period of preparation, allowing us to grow individually and strengthen our relationship with the Lord. Now, as we unite in marriage, we do so with the confidence that our union is part of His divine plan. Our story is a testament to God’s faithfulness, grace, and the beautiful tapestry He weaves when we surrender to His will. We look forward to building a life together that honors Him and furthers His Kingdom. This is more than a love story. This is a testimony.
