How We Met

05.18.2020

I was working at Fegley's Mini Mart in McAdoo. PJ kept coming into the store after his shifts at the prison for Combos, Slim Jims & Brisk Iced Tea. PJ continuously flirted with the pretty cashier and eventually I sent him a message on Facebook. The relationship blossomed from there!

The Proposal

7.28.2023

After a beautiful dinner for two at Benito's we drove to our favorite spot in Silverbrook where I thought we were just picking up my son from PJ's sister while they were fishing (supposedly) at the pond. When we arrived PJ's niece and nephew were at the gate that heads to the pond waiting to walk us back. The two walked with us to the pond, decided to blindfold both of us and told us Becky had a surprise for us. Little did I know PJ wasn't blind folded the whole walk to the pond. When we got to the entrance point of the pond Aliyah took the blindfold off of me. That’s when I saw my children, Becky, Brad, Aliyah and Thomas and a Photographer (cousin Selena) there to witness and capture all of the evening unfolding. PJ was standing at the edge of the pond with a beautifully decorated arch behind him with the words "Marry Me" in balloon letters, candles, a white walkway and he was on one knee. I cried the entire 30 second walk from where I stood to where he was knelt and I said "YES" multiple times! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in June, 2025!
