Schedule

Saturday, April 26, 2025

Ceremony

8:30 am - 10:00 am

The Brim
14150 Walker Rd, Kansas City, MO 64163

This event is garden/semi-formal. If the weather is nice, we will be opening up the chapel and the ceremony will be partially outdoors.

There will be a cake cutting/toast and first dance immediately following the ceremony. There will be no formal reception, however, we are hosting an informal gathering of friends and family at The Brass Rail (4940 NE 81st St, Kansas City, MO 64119) beginning at 11:00 AM. The attire for that is bar and grill casual, so feel free to change clothes in between! We will not be providing a meal to guests, but The Brass Rail offers a full menu and bar for anyone who would like to eat and/or imbibe. More event details to follow.

After Party

11:00 am - 2:30 pm

Brass Rail Sports Bar, Restaurant & Pool Hall

FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible, but no later than March 10th, 2025. Even a tentative RSVP at that time would help more than no response at all.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no earlier than 8:00 AM.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! Please just let us know well ahead of time if you will be bringing children and how many, as we do have space constraints.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please only bring the individuals listed on the invitation. If you are coupled and we are aware of it, your significant other has already been included in our count. If you have any questions, please reach out to us directly, as we may have already included your date with this invite, even if we did not know their name yet.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have not arranged transportation to the ceremony, however, rideshare is available throughout the Kansas City area, including Lyft and Uber. You may also be able to request a ride from your hotel's transport service. Please check with them directly. We also encourage you to carpool with other wedding guests that may be staying at your hotel.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a cash registry that is linked on the wedding website. We do not have any other registries, as we are middle aged and already have all of the "stuff" we could ever need. Christian would tell you he's registered at Guitar Center and Big Dude's Music City, but that's him being him. And if that's the case, I (Lee) am registered at the KC Current Team Store, Ulta and Michaels. :) In all seriousness, gifts are not necessary. If you do want to contribute, the cash fund is a great place to start, as we would eventually like to save up for a honeymoon. Personal/personalized gifts are always special as well, but just your attendance and/or well wishes are more than enough!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there is a gravel lot on the premises of the chapel that should be more than large enough to accommodate all of our guests.
