Where is the wedding?

Silver Creek Valley Country Club is located at 5460 Country Club Pkwy, San Jose, CA 95138. Please use this exact address since there are multiple Silver Creek locations.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue at 4:30 PM and keep in mind that there is often heavy traffic surrounding the Downtown San Jose area. The ceremony will begin at 5:30PM.

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, self-parking is available at the venue. Please park on the right hand side of the parking lot upon arrival. If the lot is full, street parking is permitted. No payment is required.

What to do upon arrival?

Answer

Please walk towards the main building entrance. After being greeted, please follow the outdoor paths on the left side of the main building entrance and walk down towards the golf course. Golf carts will also be available to transport guests, if needed. Sign our guest book! There will be restrooms and refreshments available prior to the ceremony.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal garden attire (ex. pastel/floral accents). Dress to impress like a Disney princess & prince! :) Note that our wedding party will be wearing pink and the Ceremony will be held on grass.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors with air conditioning.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Only our ceremony will be held outdoors (~4:30-6:00PM). We anticipate the weather will be around 80°F, with night lows around 65°F. Refreshments will be offered throughout the event, but we suggest bringing sunglasses for the ceremony and warm layers for the reception.

If we are traveling from out of town, where should we book accommodations?

Answer

We highly encourage booking accommodations in the South Bay Area, primarily in San Jose, due to heavy traffic. For travel recommendations, please see the "Travel" section from the drop-down menu.

When can I get a chance to take a photo with the bride and groom?

Answer

We will be taking photos with all guests in separate groups immediately after the ceremony. Please visit the link below to see your photo group. Be prepared to hear your group name called in chronological order. http://bit.ly/46e5ZcM

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the ceremony?

Answer

We encourage guests to leave all cameras and phones off during the ceremony and ask that you please remain seated. Please be respectful of our professional photographers and videographers who will be capturing our beautiful moment with you all!

What time will the reception end?

Answer

The reception will end promptly at 11:00 PM. The open bar will close ~30 minutes prior to the end of the event.

Will food and drinks be served?

Answer

Please see our "Menu" section in the drop-down menu. Appetizers will be served during cocktail hour between 6:00-7:00PM. Dinner will be provided from 7:30-8:30PM. Dessert & Late Night Snacks will be available starting at 9:00PM Open Bar will be available immediately after the ceremony and will close momentarily during the transition to the reception room and will reopen from 7:30-10:30PM.

What if I have a dietary restriction or food allergy?

We have informed the caterer of all dietary restrictions and allergies submitted through your RSVP. We highly encourage those with restrictions and allergies to ask our lovely staff of any specific ingredients prior to eating. We want everyone to have a lovely evening, including the bride - no pine nuts please! :(

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Your invitation and RSVP on our website will indicate whether you are permitted to bring a plus one. Due to space limitations, we cannot accommodate every guest to bring a guest of their own, unless specifically listed on the formal invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Are children and dogs welcome?

Answer

As much as we love all kiddos and doggos, only the children of the bride & groom's family (including Anya & Coco) will be allowed to attend the event. The children who are invited will be addressed on the wedding invitation and listed on the RSVP page. We kindly ask that you plan accordingly.

Will there be a gifts registry?

Answer

Being surrounded by our lovely family and friends is all we could ever hope for! If you wish to provide a gift for our special occasion, we would appreciate any contributions to our honeymoon or home improvement fund, which you can find in the "Registry" section from the drop-down menu. We are so excited to continue our lives together and look forward to spending our future days with all of you! :)
