Toronto, ON

Where it all began

The location, at King's College Circle, where we have chosen to have our ceremony holds a sentimental meaning for us.

What is that you may ask? Let's walk down memory lane...

Initially

after texting for a month everyday and going on three dates...

he asked her to be his girlfriend there...

Then

She told him she loved him there...

(even though he said it first and was waiting for her to say it back)

After a few years

they went through some ups and downs...

deciding if they should part ways or not, but ultimately they decided to stay together there...

Eventually

when the time came to pop the question...

they always knew where it was going to happen, they just didn't know when...

Finally

we have come to a full circle...

and returned to the place where it all began...

To complete our love story

we are getting married there...

and we invite you to join us at our monumental milestone at the Knox Chapel on the King's College Circle!

Wedding Ceremony

11:00 am - 1:00 pm

The dress code is formal. Our theme is Dark Opulence—envision rich, moody jewel tones such as ruby red, sapphire blue, emerald green, and deep amethyst.

There are no “set” colours, so feel free to select a formal gown/outfit that suits the theme.

Tea Ceremonies

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Fairmont Royal York Hotel, The Nineteenth Floor
100 Front Street West, 19th Floor, Toronto, ON M5J 1E4, Canada

We invite you to share in the second half of the celebration with a Chinese Tea Ceremony. While this ceremony is traditionally held privately before the wedding, due to conflicting schedules, we have chosen to include it as part of the reception.

There will also tentatively be a Korean Paebaek Ceremony. Historically it was meant to be a welcoming party for the bride into the groom’s family, but many couples have incorporated it into the reception as an extra fun celebration for the guests. These events are open to anyone who would like to enjoy the atmosphere, but please know there’s no pressure or expectation to attend!

Wedding Reception

4:30 pm - 11:30 pm

The evening will begin with a mini cocktail hour, and then a 3 course meal with a dessert, and some extra late bites. Can't wait to see you there!
