Happy Hour

2:00 pm - 3:15 pm

Cottages South of Lava Lava Beach Club
69-1081 Ku'uali'i Pl, Waikoloa Village, HI 96738

Join us at the beach for a pre-catamaran drink.

Park in the parking lot or have your Uber drop you off at the address listed above. Arrive anytime between 2:00 and 3:15, walk down to the beach in front of the Lava Lava Beach Club, and enjoy a drink or two with us at our beach cottage before the catamaran cruise. At 3:15 we will all walk to the catamaran cruise boarding area, which is a 5 minute beach walk.

Catamaran Cruise & Ceremony ❤️

3:30 pm - 6:00 pm

A glass bottom boat will shuttle us from the beach to the catamaran, starting at 3:30 in front of the Ocean Sports Beach Hut at 'Anaeho'omalu Bay.

Skip the heels and your dress shoes, and prepare to get wet potentially up to your knees upon boarding. Barefoot is completely acceptable and welcome for this catamaran cruise, but if you insist on shoes, make sure they can get wet and there is no heel. We'll have light bites and open bar. The sun will set at about 6pm as we return to A-Beach, so we recommend bringing an extra layer in case it gets chilly.

Beach Celebration

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

We'll celebrate beachside for as long as the vibe is running high.

Pizza and drinks will be served, and for anyone who wants something else, Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant is right next door with a full menu of delicious entrees and cocktails.

FAQs

Just about everyone attending knows that Troy and Diana have gone a bit against the grain when it comes to marriage and weddings. What that means is that we usually end up with a lot of questions about how this is all going down. Here are some FAQs to help you navigate this experience.
Question

When is the ceremony, wedding, and reception?

Answer

We'll be doing everything (a ceremony and our version of a reception) on the catamaran cruise on 10/18. You can learn more about this by scrolling up to "Ceremony Details."

Question

What is the attire for the ceremony?

Answer

Attire: beach casual. Examples include shorts and beach-y shirt for men, and summer beach-y dresses for women. To get to the catamaran, we will all be taking a shuttle boat from A-beach, which will require everyone to walk through water (possibly knee deep) to board the shuttle. In addition, the catamaran requires that all who board are either barefoot or have "stable" shoes. Anyone with heels will be asked to remove their shoes on the boat. Due to the shuttle-boat boarding and catamaran footwear requirements, we recommend you wear either waterproof shoes or easy-to-remove shoes such as sandals or flip flops with no heel.

Question

Is there a reception after the catamaran cruise?

Answer

There is no formal reception, but we'd love anyone who is up for it to join us at the beach in front of the Lava Lava Beach Club Cottages (next door to the south of the Lava Lava Beach Club Restaurant). We'll be celebrating post-catamaran-cruise with a very casual gathering with pizza and beverages.

Question

Is the catamaran cruise kid friendly?

Answer

Maddox will be joining us, and all other children are also welcome. Please note: kids may be asked to wear a lifejacket on the catamaran.

Question

Where and when do we board for the catamaran?

Answer

If you cannot join the happy hour and prefer to meet at the boat launch location, please meet in front of the Ocean Sports Beach Hut at 'Anaeho'omalu Bay at 3:30. We will board the shuttle boat to the catamaran starting at 3:30.

Question

What will happen if there is inclement weather?

Answer

We will be sailing on the catamaran as long as the captain determines it is safe for us to do so. If the captain cancels due to weather or sea conditions, we will instead hold the ceremony on the beach in front of our Lava Lava Beach Club cottages (rain or shine!).

Registry

Your presence in Hawaii is more than enough of a wedding gift for us. While we do not expect gifts, due to popular demand we have added a few items for those who insist.
