Travel Note

Airport to Hotel

Most guests fly into Portland International Airport (PDX). It’s about a 15-20 minute drive (roughly 9 miles) from Sentinel Hotel. Ground options include a taxi, a ride‑share (about $30-45), or the TriMet MAX Red Line train from the airport to downtown (~$2.30, 40-45 minutes). Sentinel hotel does not offer an airport shuttle.

Yes! Children are welcome at all events. If you’re bringing little ones, let us know on your RSVP if you are interested in a children's meal.

Plus-ones are welcome if they’re listed on your invitation. If you’re not sure, feel free to reach out to us!

What should I wear?

The hotel offers valet parking ($65/day), and there’s self-parking available at nearby garages. Street parking is also available, but beware of time limits because most spots are metered and capped at 2 hours. Not at all. While we have a room block and special rates at Sentinel Hotel for convenience, you are welcome to stay anywhere you prefer. There are many options within a 5 minute walk to Sentinel Hotel.

The benefits of booking through the block are the discounted rate, the waived nightly resort fee of $29, and the fun of everyone staying in the same place. We’ve set aside a selection of rooms for our guests, but discounted rates are available for ALL room types at Sentinel Hotel.
