Trevor decided the best place to ask me to marry him was at the lake with friends and family around. In the middle of dinner he stood up and said he had an announcement to make. Everyone got quiet and he began by saying we’d been dating for a while and he knew he wanted to keep that going (I had a mouthful of apple crisp). He got down on one knee and I hurried to swallow and stand up. I started crying while and so did he. I said “Yes”, of course and our hands were shaking as he put the ring on my finger. Everyone cheered and congratulated us! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Alamosa!
