FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues. Avoid purples, yellows, browns, and blues. The ceremony and reception will both take place outside in the garden, we recommend dressing appropriately for the sun or any wind. If you plan to wear heel shoes we recommend a chunkier heel.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue no sooner than 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.

Question

Is there transportation to and from hotels and ceremony?

Answer

Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue. We encourage our guests to coordinate with other guests and carpool, if at all possible, to ensure there will be plenty of parking at the venue.

Question

Should we stay the night in Big Bear?

Answer

We strongly recommend our guests book lodging accommodations to avoid having to drive down the mountain at night. Please visit the travel tab to view nearby hotels and cabins to stay at, note that there are many other places to stay than those recommended. Feel free to use the venue address to search for options nearby.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?

Answer

The bride and groom kindly ask all that all guests silence and put away their phones and camera devices throughout the duration of the ceremony, so that we may enjoy the moment together with our friends and family unplugged and to allow our photographers to capture candid moments. There will be opportunities later on during the reception to take plenty of photos of the bride and groom.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar at the venue beginning from cocktail hour to the end of the night. There will be a preset menu of specialty cocktails, as well as beer on tap.
