Travis & Shelley met in November of 2022. They were both single for a couple years, and actually met on HINGE, yes the dating site, Hinge 😀. Travis was introduced to the dating site, on a Sunday while hanging out with his friends at a Saints game, in New Orleans, La. Shelley had been introduced to Hinge, a few months before by a few friends, one who is actually officiating their wedding 💕. Ashley, shared with Shelley many stories, about confirmed "happily ever afters", all because the couples joined Hinge, too. Shelley downloaded the app, on a Friday, the Friday right before Travis was introduced to it, & downloaded it, on the Sunday. The Tuesday following, Travis and Shelley actually matched on Hinge, and now the rest is history. Their first date, was 3 weeks following, on a cold Saturday evening, at Half Shell Oyster. Only 10 months later, Travis proposed, and here they are, planning the wedding of their dreams. They are now true believers of the saying "iykyk". Shelley & Travis, became best friends, and knew that with a prayer, and a plan, it would work. They are excited about their big day, 10/12/2024, where they will become, Mr. & Mrs. Francis ❤️.

For Shelley’s 41st birthday, Travis planned a birthday party, for her at Stacy’s Bar & Grill in, Broussard, La. Shelley was aware of the birthday party, but little did she know, the birthday party was going to turn into a proposal/engagement party. For 30+ days prior to the party, Travis began planning. During this time Shelley was a nervous wreck, because she is usually the planner, & this being planned for her, was not sitting well with her, lol. Travis with the help of Shelley’s family, close friends, & his family put together the perfect proposal 🌹. Prior to the proposal, Travis did reach out to Shelley’s parents, daughter, brother, & her “sister” cousin’s to ask for her hand in marriage, and he got full approval 🙌🏾. Travis asked, and Shelley said yes 💍!! What made the evening more special, is that Shelley & Travis were surrounded by family & friends. #FromFriendstoFrancis
