We will be hanging out at the beautiful Audubon Park for the afternoon to kick off the weekend and we'd love for you to join us! We will have lunch and light bites as well as some beer, wine and sodas. Come through anytime between 1-4pm! You can arrive on the St. Charles Streetcar or a rideshare, and if you will be driving, street parking is available on St. Charles Avenue and the surrounding side streets (Calhoun, Coralie, Benjamin). Restrooms are on site. For the kiddos, there is a playground right next to the picnic shelter. Nola folks, please feel free to bring blankets and/or chairs if you'd like! We can't wait to spend the afternoon with y'all!

What date should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please plan to arrive at Paradigm Gardens at 4:30pm. The ceremony will begin shortly after, allowing guests time to get situated. If you arrive prior to 4:30pm and the gardens are not yet open to garden guests, you can grab a drink and hang out at Central City BBQ directly across the street.

How should I get to and from the venue?
Answer
We recommend that you plan to use a ride share or a car to get to and from Paradigm Gardens. If you drive, there is free street parking available on all streets around the venue. The entrance to the gardens is on S. Rampart Street, and there will be a member of the Paradigm Gardens team and a sign at the entrance gate.

Is there a dress code?

We're calling it "Garden Attire" which falls somewhere between semi-formal and cocktail dress code and is intended to be worn outdoors. The ground is mostly grass, so please keep this in mind when choosing footwear. We encourage you to wear something you feel comfortable in and makes you feel great!

Will the celebration be completely outdoors?
Answer
Yes, the venue, Paradigm Gardens, is completely outdoors! It's a beautiful urban garden with lush New Orleans foliage and flowers (and goats!). If rain is in the forecast, we will have a large tent for the festivities. Please keep an eye on the weather forecast for temperatures as you may want a light jacket at this time of year in New Orleans. Bug spray will be available on the site as well.

Yes! We have room blocks reserved at two hotels in the Warehouse District in downtown New Orleans, approximately 5 minutes by car to Paradigm Gardens. What types of food will be served at the wedding?
Answer
Dinner will be a fresh, seasonal, chef inspired menu with Nola flavor! Food will be served around 5:30pm and will be set up buffet style. Many of the dishes will be able to be modified to be made gluten free, dairy free and vegan. Please note if you have dietary preferences in your RSVP. Thanks!

Yes, we'll have open bar of wine, beer and a specialty cocktail! For non-alcoholic beverages we'll have sodas and water available as well.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Yes! We'd love to spend more time together over the weekend. We'll be hosting a picnic on Saturday November 9th between 1-4pm at the beautiful Audubon Park! This will be a casual afternoon and you can feel free to come through at a time that works well for you! We're still working out the exact menu, but we'll provide lunch, snacks, beer, wine and water. We're looking forward to spending the afternoon together and welcoming you to the festivities!

There will be a home Saints football game on the day of the wedding at Noon. This might mean there will be a bit more traffic when you head to the ceremony, so it would be good to check on Uber/Lyft times as you're getting ready.
