Our Story

Our story began during the frigid days of winter in Philadelphia, in February 2025. Tori was living in Manayunk, in her cute little condo. Kyle was living a spartan lifestyle in East Passyunk with no furniture, one mug, and a coffee maker, after having just moved down from the even colder city of Syracuse, NY. After first braving the dating apps and matching on Hinge, we then braved the single-digit temps for a first date at The Good King Tavern. Both of us knew pretty quickly that we'd met someone special. When you know, you know... The days and dates flew by, and we filled our summer with trips to the beach- SC, NJ, FL! When summer ended, the next chapter of our story began. On September 5th, surrounded by beautiful flowers in a secluded garden in Princeton, NJ, Kyle got down on one knee and proposed. Engagement wasn't our only exciting news though... around the same time, we also found out that we're expecting a baby! In all of our talks about the future, and the life we want together, a family has always been part of the plan. Our story is special and unique to us, just like our timing, and we couldn't be happier. With our baby's due date in April 2026, we decided to make our marriage official sooner. What could be more fun than planning for a wedding and a baby? Planning two weddings! On October 25th, 2025, we got married in a beautiful, intimate church ceremony. We were surrounded by our immediate family, and it was the perfect way to start our lives as Mr. & Mrs. Anthony. Now, we look forward to celebrating our love and marriage with all of our family and friends in November 2026!

Question

Dress Code

Answer

The wedding reception dress will be formal attire. The venue, The Union League of Philadelphia, has a strict dress code that will apply to all wedding guests. Men must wear a suit jacket or sport coat, tucked-in collared shirts or turtlenecks, slacks, and dress shoes. Women should be dressed in an equal level of formality in dresses, skirts, pant suits, or slacks with a sweater or blouse. Sneakers, casual shoes, sandals, athletic attire, athleisure, and denim are not allowed. We will share any additional information with the family that may be staying in one of the Union League's hotel rooms. If you have any questions, or are uncertain about the dress code, feel free to reach out to us!

Question

Parking at the Venue

Answer

The Union League of Philadelphia owns a valet parking garage located just across from the ground-level side entrance on Sansom Street. The garage address is below: Midtown Garage 1415 Sansom Street Philadelphia, PA 19102 Parking will be complimentary for all wedding guests for the evening of the reception. Any additional time will be subject to the garage's parking rates. We will follow up with any additional information closer to the date.

Question

Overnight Accommodations

Answer

We will have a small block of hotel rooms at the Union League of Philadelphia that we will be offering to immediate family and the wedding party. We do not have a block of rooms anywhere else, but there are many hotels nearby to the Union League! If you scroll down to the 'Hotels' section, we've compiled a list with links.

Question

Are children invited to attend?

Answer

We have decided to limit our guest list to children aged 16 years and older. Our intention is not to exclude any family or friends, and we understand if anyone is unable to attend as a result. We've made this decision so that our guest list could include as many family and friends as possible, and to allow for all parents to be able to enjoy a night out.
