We're looking forward to celebrating our special day with you! Please RSVP by April 15...
About six months before Christian and Tori's paths crossed, Christian went through a heartbreak of his own. He had been in a relationship that, while full of love and mutual respect, was ultimately moving in a different direction than where the Lord was leading him. It wasn't a matter of incompatibility, but rather God gently closing a door for a reason he didn't yet understand. Though it was painful, he chose to trust that the Lord had a greater plan. Tori’s season of heartbreak came much later – just weeks before Christian reached out. She had been praying earnestly about whether the relationship she was in was truly from the Lord. The more she sought the Lord, the more she realized that spiritual priorities were pulling them apart rather than bringing them together. It was a difficult decision, but she knew she had to surrender her desires and trust God with her future. And that’s when God began writing the next chapter. Christian first noticed Tori through her posts about faith, and something about her love for the Lord stood out to him. He reached out, and what started as simple conversations turned into deep discussions about scripture, prayer, and seeking the Lord's will. They grew in friendship- prayerfully and with purpose. As their families met and their connection deepened, it became clear that this was something God was blessing. The timing didn't seem ideal, but they learned that God's timing is never about convenience- it's about purpose. The Lord had used their individual seasons of waiting, heartbreak, and surrender to prepare them for something greater than they could have imagined. They both discovered that love isn't about searching for the right person; It's about becoming the right person by putting God first. Now, as they step into this next chapter, they do so with full confidence in the One who brought them together. Their story is a testimony of God's faithfulness, His perfect timing, and the beauty of trusting Him with every hope, heartache, and desire. “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” -Psalm 37:4
