It all started in college in our Social Studies class where we weren’t just learning about society, we were building the beginning of our own. That day, we played a game of Monopoly... but with a twist. It had different rules and a new name: “Sociopoly.” Somehow, he kept landing on all my properties and handing over play money. He looked at me with a smile and said, “Well, if it isn’t Miss Take-All-My-Money!” After class, I smiled and we ended up walking the same way. That small moment turned into conversations, laughter, memories and eventually, a life together. Now here we are, years later, with two amazing kids, two sour patch loving dogs, and a million memories. On Christmas Day, while playing a family game, he got down on one knee and proposed. It was simple, beautiful, and perfectly us. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter of our story with all of you. 💙
