How far is the trip between ceremony and reception?

Answer

It's about 35 minutes from the ceremony site to the house for the reception, so we recommend renting a car or carpooling with friends + family

What is the dress code?

As we are celebrating our wedding on Halloween, we are strongly encouraging costumes. If you prefer, please feel free to wear cocktail attire to the ceremony + change into your costume before the reception. It is also completely acceptable to not wear a costume, we won’t take too personally :)

Where do you recommend we find lodging?

Answer

There are a ton of short term rental properties between Carlsbad and Vista, and lots of hotels in the Carlsbad area. There is a limited number of rooms in a block available at the Cape Rey Hotel in Carlsbad, please reach out to Maddie or Todd directly for this.

This will be an adult only affair, we ask you leave your little goblins at home
