Taylor attended PT school at NAU in Flagstaff where she had 2 incredible roommates and friends, Lindsey and Katelyn. After school ended, Lindsey moved to Ft Collins, Colorado to work at a hospital there... sound familiar? At the same time, Mark was finishing COTA school and decided to move across the country from Maine to Colorado where he met 2 great friends, Lindsey and TJ. Mark credits Lindsey's persistence for the reason he was able to go out and see the area and make so many great connections. A couple years after graduation, Taylor and Katelyn decided to visit Lindsey in Ft Collins! They had a great time hiking, checking out the food and drink scene, and getting matching tattoos (DOYS for life!). Lindsey decided to invite some work friends over to hang out and that is when Taylor and Mark met for the first time! They played some drinking games and yard games, enjoying the friendly competition. Taylor thought she was flirting, teasing him and talking trash, which Mark saw as her simply being overly competitive. Later that night, Taylor was impressed by Mark's bartender skills, making Paper Planes for everyone, which made a lasting impression. The two parted ways with Taylor wishing she had left him her number and Mark being none the wiser. Thankfully their friends Lindsey and TJ got married later that year, giving the pair a second chance at connecting! They danced together and flirted at the wedding, finally exchanging numbers and agreeing to talk soon. Mark was very smooth at the end of the night saying, "We are adults and if we want to see each other again, we will make it happen". 2 weeks later they had their first Facetime date, which lasted 8 hours! From there they had many virtual dates and trips back and forth until they realized this was their PERSON and Mark moved to Flagstaff in January 2024. The rest is history!
