It's gonna be hot! Boys, wear trousers or shorts, and short-sleeved shirts type of vibe. Cotton and linen is always good to keep cool. Girls, things like maxi dresses, pastels, floral prints. Feel free to wear sandals or shoes. Anything goes really, but think fancy beach casual.
The ceremony will take place on the hotel lawn. If it rains, we will move into the hotel restaurant.

The wedding will be held at Khao Lak Paradise Resort in Khao Lak, Phang Nga, Thailand. The nearest airport is Phuket International. Airport code HKT.

How do I get to the wedding?
Answer
Fly into Phuket International Airport (airport code HKT). From the airport, you can do one of the following options: 1. Send us your flight details and the hotel will organise a hotel transfer for you. 2. Rent a scooter from Diamond Phuket Airport Scooter. Not recommended if you have more than a small rucksack. The drive is medium challenging (lots of fast 4x4s driving past). Whatsapp them on +66 835 641 559 Deposit = 3000-5000 THB depending on size of bike Daily rate = 250 THB 3. Rent a car. We don't recommend this, unless you are planning to drive around the region. There are plenty of scooter and car rental places when you get to Khao Lak, should you wish to hire one there.

Yes, contact us asap. There are a handful of rooms still available. The hotel will not be accepting bookings from anyone other than us.

Are drinks complimentary?
Answer
After the ceremony, during cocktail hour, and during dinner, we have an open bar that is capped with a limited menu. Drinks not included on the open bar menu must be paid for on order. Once the open bar cap has been reached, all further drinks will be paid on order. No room tabs will be available on the day of the reception. You can pay with cash or card.

Please fill in your requirements in the Save The Date form that Dee, Tim or Louise sent you when you were first invited to the wedding (the one with lots of memes). If you can't find it, please ask us for it.

What are the plans after the wedding reception?
Answer
We are hosting a brunch the morning after the wedding reception. Pastries, toast, jam, tea and coffee available from 10:30am, and then we will sit down for brunch at 11:30am. All Khao Lak Paradise hotel guests have brunch included free of charge. If you are not staying at Khao Lak Paradise Resort, please confirm one month in advance if you are attending the brunch, the cost is: Adult - 500 THB 5 - 12 years old - 250 THB Under 5 - Complimentary

Is Thailand cash only? And how much cash should I bring?
Answer
Not exactly true. 7Eleven, hotels, larger or more corporate businesses use card. Street food vendors, small restaurants and tour operators generally use cash. Do you need to bring a bunch of cash out? We don't recommend it. The yellow cash machines are generally very safe to use, you can withdraw THB 20,000 at a time and the charge is THB 220 per withdrawal. If you combine this with an international cash card like Wise that charges minimal fees, it's probably the safest, best and almost the cheapest way to do it. Things To Do
Little Amazon
There are a lot of mangrove forests in Thailand. They’re always beautiful and it would be amiss to pass up a chance for a boat ride or paddle through one. Sang Ne Canal, AKA “The Little Amazon” is a small stretch of mangrove forest located in the town of Takua Pa in Thailand’s Phang Nga Province. The notable feature of Sang Ne Canal is the massive banyan trees whose intricate root systems create archways over the small waterway. The Little Amazon is a haven for wildlife, and visitors commonly see macaque monkeys, reticulated pythons and other snakes, oriental pied hornbills, monitor lizards, kingfishers, and more.

Really fun, silly course. Dee said it has "Tomb Raider vibes". Takes about an hour to complete (for a group of 2).
Surfing at Memories Beach Bar
If there's still swell at the end of October, this is a reasonable place for beginners and intermediates to surf.

No too spicy and absolutely delicious. Get the Khua Kling, plus the Malindjo leaves with egg.

Rip roaringly blow your head off spicy. Food is crazy good. Everyone around us seemed to be ordering the ginormous fried fish.
