How We Met
Can you believe Debby and Tim went to high school together 40 years ago and never even met? They sat just seven seats apart at their graduation ceremony, yet their paths never crossed. Fast forward four decades to their 40th high school reunion, where they finally meet in person. Tim, not recognizing her, asks, "Hi, what's your name?" Debby grins and replies, "Hi Tim, I'm Debby – we're Facebook friends!" Oops! After a good laugh, the two of them, along with a few other old friends, had an unforgettable evening. To Tim's surprise, Debby had secretly wrote in his yearbook earlier that night, "You’re still hot after 40 years!" They stayed in touch for months after the reunion—despite Debby being near Austin, TX and Tim living in Spring, TX. The distance couldn’t keep them apart. Their friendship blossomed, and what started as a reconnection sparked into love. And now they are getting married!!

We will be having a small ceremony for family and close friends on the back deck of Backwoods Saloon. We will be serving BBQ with all the fixins and sides. Following the ceremony, we will be having a Rockin' Reception Party featuring Keepers of the Rock from Austin, TX at 8PM.

Getting to the Venue
If you are flying in - Backwoods is about a 35-45 min drive North I45. Take the FM 1488 exit and continue right over tracks then left to go back in the woods. From North 45 heading south, take the FM 1488 exit, follow feeder and take exit circle to the right under the bridge. Continue east over bridge, continue over tracks then left to go back in the woods.

Please RSVP by February 21st, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)

Should I bring a gift or do you have a registry set up?
Answer
Your presence is our gift, cash is welcomed if you wish. We will not be setting up a registry. Monetary gifts will go towards our Honeymoon.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. Thank you for understanding.

Please dress casual and comfortable. If you want to were shorts, jeans or a dress - that is totally up to you.

What will the weather be like?

Welcome to Texas, if you blink the weather will change!! For March, average high temperatures are around 73°F and average lows around 54°F. Note: Ceremony will be outside, reception will be in doors.

Will there be food?
Answer
Yes, following the ceremony, we will have BBQ brisket, chicken and sides for our family and friends. Drinks can be purchased at the bar.
