Flight
The Phuket airport is your best solution to attend our wedding, whether you're flying directly from abroad or domestically from Bangkok. The venue is typically 50 min to 1 hr 23 min drive from Phuket airport. HOW TO GET AROUND THE ISLAND: The most popular and convenient choice is to take a Phuket Airport taxi or private transfer, as they are available 24/7 and take you door-to-door. Grab Taxi is an excellent alternative. There is now an option to book a ride at Grab's new official pick-up zone at Phuket airport. Grab App is a convenient way to hail a taxi in Phuket, plus you know how much the price is before you go! Renting a private van with driver for the day (or half day) is the best value for money and convenient way to discover the island without stress, especially if you are traveling with a group of family and friends. They can customize the day following your requests and suggest the best possible itineraries. The average cost is around 2,000 THB per day (excludes fuel, tolls, parking fees) - price varies depending on program/hours. Renting a car or a motorbike gives you freedom to explore Phuket and beyond. Always rent from a reputable international company. Driving here is challenging and requires skills. Please get a travel insurance if you plan to rent one.
Hotel
We've secured a special group rate that you can book directly with the hotel. If interested, check out the early bird rates below and send the completed form to love@sripanwa.com. https://bit.ly/lovesripanwa You could also book at any other hotel of your choice as there are dozens of beaches around the island and each area has a different character! Here's a simple guide to each of the main areas with pros and cons, the sort of traveler they are best suited to, the facilities available and the atmosphere you're likely to find. We trust that it'll help you to decide where to stay in Phuket! https://www.hotels.com/go/thailand/phuket-where-to-stay
For centuries, elephants have been seen as holy in Thailand. Today elephant figures are still put in front of many buildings and sold as motifs on clothing or souvenir. However, the number of elephants in Thailand is diminishing. For this reason, it is absolutely crucial to protect not only the wise giants but also their natural habitat. An Elephant sanctuary is the right address! Your visit supports their work and guarantees to leave you inspired, transformed and in awe of these majestic animals!
Southern Thailand is blessed with an astonishing number of islands off its coasts. Discover the most beautiful islands of Phuket aboard a stunning catamaran. From Coral to Racha island, enjoy our delectable buffet, sunbathe on your daybed, take a glass of champagne and get the party started with our live DJ.
Lively Phuket Old Town is known for brightly painted, century-old Sino-Portuguese townhouses, with a well-preserved row along Soi Rommanee. Main street Thalang Road has stores selling artisanal ice cream and batik fabrics and a Sunday market for souvenirs and street food like fried banana. The Thai Hua Museum features exhibits on Chinese immigrant culture, and Jui Tui Shrine displays colorful statues of Chinese gods.
The Blue Elephant Phuket's discovery classes let you cook like a Thai Chef, preparing 4 or 5 recipes in half a day! After the class, each student receives a culinary certificate and then savours their masterpieces in our restaurant—or takes them back home. During our morning session, we will also take you for a market visit to explore the amazing universe of Thai produce and spices!
A perfect retreat after walking the streets of Phuket all day. Kim's Thai Massage & Spa is an absolute gem and reasonably priced. They have many locations in Phuket but our favorite is Kim's Massage & Spa 5 Phuket Old Town. Highly recommend their "Taste of Thai" package (Traditional Thai Massage & Herbal Hot Compress Treatment) and/or "Rest Time" package (Thai + Aromatic Oil Massage).
Embark on a Sip and Savor degustation adventure where you’ll discover the nuances of our Phuket award-winning gin, rum, and vodka. Join our expert mixologists and learn how to mix, stir, and shake delicious cocktails. Then savor a Thai-inspired lunch with crafted drinks.

Passport MUST be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of your arrival in Thailand to avoid possible denied entry. Nationals from the U.S. and most western, Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian countries can enter Thailand without a visa and stay for up to 30 days – in some cases, such as Chile, even longer (90 days). Other nationalities will need to apply for a visa from their local embassy. Visit the Royal Thai Embassy website for the most current visa info.
English is widely spoken, written and understood, especially in most hotels, shops and restaurants of tourist destinations. Google translate works pretty well, download Thai language just in case so you can always use it even when you're offline.
Overall November is a great time to visit Phuket, and Thailand in general, due to the pleasant weather. And while it may rain occasionally (it's a tropical country after all!), the weather in Phuket is generally sunny, making the island an attractive holiday destination this month. Daytime temperatures usually range from 24°C (75°F) to 31°C (88°F), making for comfortable conditions for outdoor activities. Evenings are milder, with temperatures around 24°C (75°F), making them ideal for strolling and dining on the beach. Avoid swimming if a red flag is flying on the beach and stick to areas marked as safe by lifeguards.
Water: Do not drink from the taps. Always use bottled water. Ice is perfectly safe. Mosquitos: Dengue fever does occur in Phuket, but is not common. Malaria is rare to the point of non-existence. Avoid getting bitten by using bug spray and covering up at night. Drugs: The penalties for all drug-related offenses are very severe. Emergency: In case of an emergency, dial 191 for police, 1155 for tourist police, and 1669 for ambulance.
Temples: Dress appropriately – cover your shoulders and legs (at least to the knee). Remove your shoes and hat before entering temple buildings. Buddha: Images of Buddha are highly regarded in Thailand. Buying statues and getting Buddhist tattoos (if you are not Buddhist) is considered disrespectful, sometimes even illegal. Royalty: The Thai royal family is highly respected – public criticism of them is illegal. The national anthem is played on the radio and in some public places at 8am and 6pm, as well as before movies in the movie theater. You'll be expected to stand for it. Feet: Gesturing with your feet is considered very rude. Buddha Days: You can't buy alcohol on Buddha Days (certain religious holidays in Thailand). Alcohol sale: Convenience stores will only sell alcohol from 11am to 2pm and from 5pm to midnight. Restaurants and bars offer alcohol at any time of the day, except on religious and royal holidays.
SIM cards: Available at the airport and convenience stores across Phuket, generally priced from 50 baht. You will need to register the number by showing your passport. Electricity: 220 Volts, 50 Hz. Type A, B & C (USA-style) plugs.
Currency: $1 USD = 35 Thai baht (THB) ATMs: Widely available all over Phuket, accepting international cards and providing instructions in several languages, including English. Thai ATMs eject cash before returning your card. Cash: We recommend you carry some cash for taxi, convenient stores (7-eleven), local shops and restaurants, street vendors, tipping, etc. Tipping: Not necessary, but always appreciated. Bargain: Most market vendors will haggle and respond well if you're polite. It's not possible to haggle in convenience stores or shopping malls. Taxes: VAT is 7%, but can be reclaimed at the airport on selected goods. Show your passport at the time of purchase.
Driving: Drive on the left-hand side, as in the UK, India, Australia, South Africa, Japan, etc. Rental: You will need an international driver's license to rent a car or motorbike. Taxis: Cars are metered (cash only). Motorbike taxis and Tuk Tuks are not. Motorbike taxi drivers wear brightly-colored vests. Traffic: Congestion is common in built-up areas, particularly Phuket Town and Patong, and around major attractions and shopping malls. Public Transportation: There are local buses (songtaews) and minibuses available (cash only).
