Garrett and Laney are opting to have a small intimate wedding back in Laney’s home town of Las Vegas, NV. Unfortunately, Laney’s dream venue has a small, limited maximum occupancy which means the couple cannot accommodate everyone they would have loved to share their special day with. Therefore, the idea of a Happily Ever After Party took shape! Please join the couple in the Fellowship Hall of North Central Church courtesy of the Groom’s family for a post-wedding celebration. This is a way to continue the celebration and to share this special moment with those who could not be in attendance.

The love story actually begins in 2015, oddly enough. Both attending Sam Houston State University at the time, Laney swiped right on Garrett and him the same for her. However, their fates did not bring them together in that moment. After an exchange of Snapchat and Instagram handles, it seemed all they would forever be were mutuals on social media. After 7 years of scrolling past each other's posts and pictures, Garrett finally did the bravest act he could ever do - slide into Laney's DMs with a cheesy pick up line. Clearly it doesn't take a lot to impress Laney, so she was sold and after those 7 long years, they finally went on their first date. Both Laney and Garrett have a love for reading, and of course sushi, so naturally a first date to a public location of a bookstore was the best choice and dinner after (if things went well at Barnes and Noble, of course) - which it did! After dinner, they spent the remainder of the night playing Mario Kart and watching Good Mythical Morning. Turns out - they are both nerds! Ever since their first date in late Summer of 2022, they have been inseparable. Garrett has been Laney's rock during the most stressful of times, and their love has only grown from there. They look forward to all the new memories, laughs, and milestones that are in their future!
