A day to remember

Our love story didn't begin with a fancy fairytale or a typical beginning; nope, it started off with the fun clatter of wooden blocks. We met at mutual gatherings, and pretty soon, Jenga became our special little thing, our own way to connect every time. There we were two silly people watching the tower wobble, secretly loving every laugh and tense moment, and even sharing little glances that felt like our own secret language. We'd even take videos of each other playing Jenga to only go home and secretly stare at them to see those smiles until we'd meet up again. We were totally too shy to express the sweet feelings and connection we felt from that very first spark. Our journey then found a deeper, beautiful connection through God. After his sweet little surprises for a few months, we started attending church and serving together. A peaceful feeling settled over us as if God spoke clearly showing His presence in every step and word we shared in our relationship. One day after serving, standing in front of the chapel with hearts full of prayer, "I love you!" just slipped out for the very first time. We stared at each other, surprised and maybe a little shocked that the words were finally out. We walked out together smiling without a single word said after. It was a special moment just for us sealing our love which grew from fun games to something very deep. From that heartfelt 'I love you' in front of the chapel our journey has been blessed. We can't wait for that sweet feeling to return even stronger when we stand at the altar surrounded by everyone who has loved us and been part of our story, ready to feel those incredible emotions once more.
