Our story didn’t start with a grand gesture—it began under fluorescent lights, with dental charts in hand. It was the kind of connection that quietly unfolded while two people spent their days working side by side (arguably better than any cliché rom-com moment). After eight months of inside jokes, long conversations and a bond forged in the glamorous world of dentistry, we made it official in July of 2021. In February 2022, we left our life in sunny Florida to begin a new chapter and moved north to Columbus, where we made our home in the Arena District and deepened our connection through one of our favorite shared passions—hockey. Whether we were cheering in the stands or watching from our favorite bar across the street, it quickly became a tradition we loved—another piece of our life that felt undeniably ours. In the early years, we built a life filled with little traditions—early morning pickleball matches, frequent visits to the best (and busiest) little bakery in italian village and never, ever missing a birds game. One of the more unexpected milestones was learning to love each other and life in weather below 85° and honestly? We’ve crushed it! In December 2023, we chose forever, together —surrounded by the enchanting Wild Lights, the glow of twinkling Christmas magic, and a shiny new engagement ring. It was the perfect moment and a beautiful tribute to our shared love for the holiday season. Wedding planning wasn’t something that we jumped right into, but one thing was for certain: on December 3rd, 2023—less than 24 hours after getting engaged—we wrote down exactly one name. Just one. The Arcade. That note still exists, unchanged. No alternatives, no second guesses—just the place where our hearts knew we’d say ‘I do.’ We’re so excited to share this beautiful day with you and to celebrate together! — S & J
