How we met
After a few weeks of talking online we made plans to finally meet in person! We were both pretty nervous walking into our first date, but those nerves didn’t last long. We met at El Bracero and spent hours talking, laughing, and getting to know each other. By the end of the night, we were joking about being the only ones left there. What started as one great date quickly turned into wanting to spend all of our time together, and before long we were hanging out nonstop. From that very first night, being together just felt easy—and we’ve been inseparable ever since.
The Proposal
After a weeklong trip through North Carolina and Tennessee, Parker popped the question! Natalie had a feeling it was coming, especially after Parker thought he was being slick by suggesting dinner with her parents the week before the trip. She spent the entire trip on edge, wondering when it was finally going to happen. On the last day, during the drive home, Parker suggested they stop and check out the lookout at the Cumberland Gap in Tennessee. After making it to the top and taking a few pictures, Natalie caught something out of the corner of her eye, Parker down on one knee. He asked her to be his wife, and of course, she said yes!
