FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi formal, but casual! We will be getting married on our property at our home, so keep this in mind for footwear. Lots of gravel and grass!

Question

Travel and places to stay?

Answer

There are places to stay in surrounding areas. Bangor, Lincoln, and Milford are closest to us if you are searching for hotels. We are not doing a wedding block at any hotels, so please choose which is most convenient for you. We are also allowing guests to bring tents and campers to stay at the house. We ask that you reach out to us in advance if this is something you're interested in. Campers and tents would have to be brought to the house between Saturday, August 10th and Thursday, August 15th to make sure that we don't have any interruptions during the weekend festivities. *For anyone needing flights, Bangor is the closest airport to us. They have a rental car service inside the airport for convenience for our guests.

Question

Transportation?

Answer

We do not have Uber or taxis close to us. Please keep this in mind while enjoying the day with us. Everyone not staying on the property will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the house.

Question

Can I bring my kids and/or dog?

Answer

As much as we love all of our friend's & family's children, we ask that this is a kid-free wedding. Having over 100 acres, there are way too many chances for a child to wander and accidents to happen. Please make accommodations prior to the wedding. If you need recommendations, please reach out! We also ask that all of your fur babies stay home as well, as our babies do not get along well with other dogs.

Question

Can we bring alcohol?

Answer

YES! Our day with be BYOB, whatever that may be! We will have a small selection of refreshments during our cocktail hour while pictures are getting taken, but anything after that will be up to our guests. We will have a place for everyone to store their coolers safely and out of the way.

Question

Utilities?

Answer

We will be renting portable utilities for the wedding day, and they will be handicap accessible. We are not allowing anyone in the house on the day of the wedding, so please plan accordingly with this in mind.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As much as we would love to have everyone there on our special day, we ask that you only attend with the listed number of people on your invitation.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions for any reason, please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can ensure you are accommodated! We want everyone leaving full and happy.
