Kindly RSVP before September 21st. If you are unable to attend, please indicate "Will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending", but find that you will not make it, please notify Jessica as soon as you are aware.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited budget, we are unable to accommodate those guests NOT formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. For families, it will list "(Your Name) & Family". When you go to RSVP, you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.

Are kids welcome?

We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is cocktail/formal attire. Ladies you can wear floor-length or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear slacks and button down shirt with a tie. Please no jeans, sneakers, hats, and of course no wearing white. What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3:30pm. We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony starts so you can have time to park, grab a glass of champagne, and find your seat!

What do I do if I'm late to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting no later than 3:30pm. If you happen to be late, our coordinator will let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception so hang tight and we will see you at the reception! Thanks for understanding!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We are having an "Unplugged" ceremony, no phones or cameras in use until the reception. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you'd like!

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both will be held outdoors. We recommend a light jacket for the evening due to the unpredictability of fall weather.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be beer/wine and two signature drinks.

Since there will be alcohol, what do we do about driving?

Answer

We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. Ethereal Gardens (of course) agrees. As such, they allow guests to leave their vehicles overnight at the venue , but they must be picked up between 10:00am - 12:00pm the next morning. We recommend using rideshare apps (Lyft, Uber) for transportation if you plan on drinking!

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, there is complimentary guest parking. A valet will be onsite, and will be able to assist in parking your car.

Where should I stay for the weekend?

Answer

Our venue is located in Escondido, CA. We have decided not to do a hotel block to give our guests the freedom to stay at a place that is most comfortable for them! San Diego is beautiful and is about 45 minutes from the venue. Oceanside or Carlsbad are also stunning and are about 25-30 minutes from the venue. If you're looking for something close, there are several hotels in Escondido!
