The Best Things Happen When You’re Not LookingThe Best Things Happen When You’re Not Looking

Our story is definitely one that seems as if it should be the plot of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Both of us were at a point in our lives where we realized that we needed to make a change to ensure our own happiness was the priority. We learned that it’s okay to be a little selfish sometimes. Ever since the day we met we have had some sort of hold on the other person, not really understanding why or how this could happen. The fates brought us together against all odds and over a thousand miles of distance, but we finally made it. We met at a wedding, and now it’s time for our own. Crazy things happen when you’re having fun and making obnoxious jokes over one too many Moscow mules. We are so excited to share our happily ever after with all of you in July 2025!

Ashley O'BrienAshley O'Brien

Maid of Honor

Hi, I’m Ashley. I’m Brittney’s little sister, and the maid of honor. I met Brittney when I was born on October 18th, 1999. She knew me before I came to be, then wanted to bring me back to the hospital but I stuck. I met Steven in Florida when my family went out there to visit my sister. My favorite memory and experience with the couple is when they got engaged in NYC. The best and only way I have to describe the couple is with one word and that’s passionate.

Steven RagnauthSteven Ragnauth

Best Man

Hi, I'm Steve. Best man Steve, not groom Steve. To add some more confusion, I'm also known as Brown Steve, not White Steve. Most of my wildest stories have been censored from this bio, so catch me after a few drinks for the full, unfiltered versions. I live in Enfield, CT, and my friendship with Steve began in the most magical place on earth—Disney World. On a trip with Kevin and Andrea, we met Stray Steve (aka groom Steve) in line for moonshine at Epcot’s American pavilion. Our shared love of good times and good drinks forged an instant bond, and we've been best friends ever since. When Steve told me he was going to propose to Brittney, I was thrilled (and maybe just a tiny bit jealous). I can't wait to celebrate and cheers to this amazing couple!

Julia KragielJulia Kragiel

Bridesmaid

Howdy, I’m Julia- Brittney's best friend since high school. I met Brittney in middle school, and I frankly couldn’t stand her when I first met her. But as they all say, you always start off hating the person before they turn into your best friend. And that is exactly what happened our freshman year of high school and I couldn’t be more grateful for her friendship. We have gone through all the monumental high school and college moments that made us into the women we are today. Every heartbreak, every embarrassing moment, and every positive moment, we have been there for each other. I am happy to have her on my side and I am happy to be by her side, especially on her wedding day. When she finally introduced me to Steven, I not only got to see my best friend happy, but I gained a friend in Steven. My favorite memory of them as a couple was during the weekend I first stayed with them in Florida. Steven happened to make Brittney laugh so loud and genuinely and it was that moment where I knew Steven was the one for Brittney. Him being able to make her laugh so effortlessly was something every best friend wants for their best friend. It was so nice to see my best friend happy with the right man, and he got my stamp of approval. That is how I would describe them as a couple- effortlessly in love. Steven looks at Brittney like she is the only woman in the world, and I am so appreciative of him for making her feel loved every day. I love them both like family. Let’s party!

Jake FrenetteJake Frenette

Groomsman

Hi I’m Jake. I first met Steven at our (my) boyfriend Steve’s house (don’t tell the bride) for Steve’s birthday. We hit it off immediately because both Steves are the same person. Steven (the groom) could make friends with a brick wall. He’s the kind of friend that will always be there for you and I’m honored to be asked to stand up at his wedding. I met Brittney on FaceTime but we really hit it off during Friendsgiving. I was talking to Steven and Brittney about their relationship and could tell from the way their faces lit up that they were made for one another. When you meet two people like Brittney and Steven, you don’t wonder if they’re getting married, just when. I’m so excited to celebrate their love and meet the people who love them most.

Maria DiDomizioMaria DiDomizio

Bridesmaid

My name is Maria DiDomizio and I’m so excited to be part of Brittney and Steven’s big day as one of Brittney’s bridesmaids. I’m 28 years old and I’m happily married to Thomas DiDomizio. We have a beautiful daughter named Evelyn and two sweet and sassy cats named Zoe and Hobbes. It’s crazy to think how much can change in just a few years. Brittney and I go way back to college, where we first met in a sales class. I was sitting in her unassigned “assigned” seat chewing my gum loudly (so she says) and she complemented my Minnie Mouse Apple Watch and Disney background on my laptop (after telling me to stop chewing my gum). The rest is history and we now work at The Walt Disney Company together! My favorite memory is meeting up with Brittney in a Chick-Fil-A parking lot during the peak of Covid and doing a dollar tree Disney princess puzzle on the dashboard of her car while eating chicken nuggets. Brittney and Steven are Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass; posh, passionate and perfect for each other. I’m so happy Brittney found her person and I can see how happy Steven makes her. Let’s get these two married so Evelyn can finally get her bestie!

Andrea RyersonAndrea Ryerson

Groomswoman

I'm Andrea and I live in Stamford, CT (grew up on the Jersey shore though) and I love video games, my cat Tobi and all things Disney! I met Steven in Disney World in line for a drink at the America's Pavilion in Epcot! Who would have known then that we'd be adding an incredible friend to our group for the reminder of the trip and life! My favorite memory was the first night Steven, Steven, Kevin and I hung out. It was truly what cemented the friendship as we all talked about life and goals and our outlook of the world. Steven and Brittney are a true example of love conquering all. They truly understand each other and are a wonderful couple together that deserve all the happiness in the world.

Ashley LutterAshley Lutter

Bridesmaid

Hi I’m Ashley (Ashley Lutter! There’s 2 Ashley’s!) Brittney and I met in 2018 when we were roommates during the Disney College Program Summer Alumni program. I met Steven in Florida at a friends wedding. My favorite memory with the couple would be the day that they met. I was there! Truly an honor to watch this love story from day one. I’d describe Brittney and Steven’s story as love at first sight! The spark was there from the day that they met and watching their love grow has been so special.

Kevin ChenKevin Chen

Groomsman

Hi I'm Kevin, save yourself a few minutes and read Andrea's bio, it's basically the same.

Gregory SchmittGregory Schmitt

Bridesman

Hey I'm Greg! I met Brittney in high school, and despite my best efforts, that parasite still a huge part of my life now. She's the sister I never had, both a little sister that nags me to hang out and do things, and big sister that nags me to get my life together. (I'm trying I swear) How she can pull both off is still a mystery to me. I met Steven when Brittney moved to Orlando on a whim which was... A choice. And despite that absolute chaos, the best thing that could happen for her did. She got the hell out of there and took him with her. Now the two of them are constant reminders that among the chaos, there's always something in the works. Even if it's just a story to laugh and reminice about.
