Whiteface Mountain Gondola Ride
The Cloudsplitter Gondola ride takes you from the base of Whiteface Mountain to the peak of Little Whiteface. From the peak you'll see Lake Placid, Lake Champlain, and some of New York State's largest peaks blanketed in beautiful fall foliage. No hiking necessary!
Cobble Lookout Hike
An easy, 368 foot ascent, 2.4 mile round trip hike. Minimal effort for beautiful views! Hiking boots recommended. Afterward, stop into The Candy Man at the four corners in Wilmington for a yummy chocolate treat.
Whiteface Veteran's Memorial Highway Drive
This beautiful, winding road will take you to the 4,867 foot summit of Whiteface Mountain, the 5th highest peak in New York State! An elevator or a short hike over rocks will get you the rest of the way there. Tolls are required.
Lake Placid's Main Street
Take a stroll down Main Street, Lake Placid. Cute local shops, great food and more gorgeous views. We recommend The Breakfast Club, The Cottage and Smoke Signals for some great eats. Visit the Lake Placid Olympic Museum or take a scenic walk around Mirror Lake. Stop into Emma's Creamery for their signature Maple Creme! Never too many sweet treats.

Yes, there will be a room block at Hotel Saranac. In January, a link and discount code will be available so you can book your room. Check back then!

What is the dress code?
Answer
We want our wedding to be a festive occasion. Gents, please wear a suit and tie. Ladies, please wear a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a pantsuit. Look and feel your best!

Where is the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony is at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Lake Placid, New York, and the reception is at the Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake, New York. The two locations are a 15-minute drive apart.

What type of foods will be served?

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. For dinner, we will have a buffet of soup, salad, seasonal vegetables, meat, and side dishes. Vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options will be available upon request when you RSVP. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions in advance so that we can accommodate you.
