Black-Tie Optional: Tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required.
Ceremony will begin at 6:00pm, followed by cocktail hour on a covered terrace, and a reception in the ballroom at 7:00pm. Transportation will be provided to and from Rosecliff, departing from Hotel Viking. There is plenty of parking onsite as well. Shuttles to Rosecliff depart Hotel Viking every 15 minutes from 5:00pm to 5:30pm Shuttles returning to Hotel Viking depart Rosecliff every 15 minutes from 9:00pm to 11:00pm

Question
Will there be parking onsite?
Answer
Yes - For those who opt to drive, there is plenty of parking onsite. You may also utilize the provided transportation from the Hotel Viking even if you are not staying there.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony begins promptly at 6:00pm, we advise our guests to arrive between 5:30pm and 5:45pm.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
“Black Tie Optional” does not require a ball gown, or a tuxedo, but we strongly encourage our guests to dress formally and strive to fit the Rosecliff aesthetic.

Can I bring a date?

Please refer to your individual invitation for details. The venue has a limited capacity and we have worked diligently to accommodate that amount while making sure that each of our loved ones is with us on our special day.

Once invitations are distributed, please make your dinner selection and add and allergies as needed.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Welcome reception We invite anybody planning to arrive in Newport on Friday evening to join us in the Thames Room at the Hotel Viking from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Cash bar will be available as well as complimentary desserts for all. For some recommended dinner locations to enjoy prior to the reception, check our "Things to Do" tab here on our website! After Party Due to the policies of the venue, our event will officially conclude at 10:00pm, but we will absolutely be continuing the festivities at an after party. Details will be shared during the “wedding weekend”.
