Before Logan and I first started dating, he asked me, "Do you want to go out sometime?" In my mind, I thought he was asking me to be his girlfriend when I barely knew him, so regrettably I turned him down. Weeks later, I still couldn't get him off my mind, so I had a friend tell him we were now dating and Logan didn't have any disputes. Approximately a year later I learned that when deciding if you want to be in a relationship, you ask your love interest if they want to go on a date before you seal the deal and make it official! I asked Logan why he never told me he was just simply asking me on a date, and he responded with, "I knew I wanted the girl. I got the girl, and I've been happy ever since." That's when I knew Logan was the one for me, and everyday I find new reasons for him to be my ONE. From his kind and genuine nature to his innate ability to make me smile, he has stolen my heart and I can't wait to make him part of my forever.
On our fifth anniversary of dating, Logan came home on a weekend from the Army to celebrate. He made reservations at a restaurant and when we got back to Frankfort, a fire was going in the fire pit. We started dancing "...barefoot on the grass listening to our favorite song," and I turn around to find Logan down on one knee smiling up at me to the song "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran. With what seems like two long years later, we are READY to say "I do!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in December!
