How It Started

05/20/2020

We met during the middle of the pandemic, with the help of Facebook. Brent showed up in a white pick up truck with a dozen red roses, and I showed up with no clue how life was going to change. Hours later, after a bonfire and s’mores, the rest is history. We’ve done it all, 4 years, blending a family, a deployment, and a new baby. Seems like the perfect time to end one chapter and start a new one with a beautiful wedding surrounded by our closest family and friends.

Please submit your RSVP by February 1st, 2024. If you have not responded by the specified date you will not be accounted for.

Is there a Dress Code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Gentlemen, shirt and tie; ladies, your favorite cocktail dress. Celebratory colors include black and shades of green.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You should arrive by 12:30 pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, parking will be on the street or in the parking garage across the street from the courthouse. For the reception, it is in a residential area. Please consider carpooling to limit the amount of street parking we use. There is also a park, "Mountain View Park", that is a 5 minute walk from the reception venue, it has a huge parking lot that can also be used.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Between the ceremony and reception there will be a few hours to account for the commute and photos. Feel free to explore all that Santa Barbara has to offer before making your way to the reception.
