A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…(Merced, CA).. They met while attending the same junior college in 2011. Haley had been tricked into being recruited for the school’s water polo team after being handed a brochure covered with images of a gorgeous beach. Through water polo, Haley and her roommates quickly befriended the world renown Bryant Melton and invited him and “his friend” to dinner at their place one evening. Once they arrived, the girls were introduced to the one and only, Timmy Demma. Before the group sat down to eat, one of Haley’s roommates quickly leaned over to her and whispered “dibs”, referring to this new friend, to which Haley responded “absolutely ******* not”. Throughout the night, something quickly clicked between the two and the chemistry felt obvious to them both. The initial attraction soon turned into a relationship built on humor, a love for Angels and Airwaves, Borderlands, and a need to try and embarrass one another in public. Once Haley gave up on trying to find the beach, she realized Merced wasn’t quite right for her and ultimately decided to move back to Oregon. Both agreed that on poor college student salaries, making long distance work would most likely ruin the relationship, and they wanted to end things on good terms. Despite things being cut short, both would later admit to being each other’s first love. The next few years were rough. They had a difficult time staying away from one another in a way that may or may not have been described as “toxic” 🙄 After a few too many arguments, Haley sent a mildly threatening message asking to be left alone, and “blocked his ass”. After 6 years of life lessons and personal growth for the both of them, Tim happened to pop up in the background of one of Haley’s dreams, which prompted a quick “unblock and stalk” the next morning. Then, that following Saturday night at 1 am, while totally sober out with friends, Tim had the thought to see what Haley had been up to. Due to forgetting to re-block two days earlier, he was able to access her fb and decided to send her a friend request. Almost immediately after, he saw the final “mildly threatening” message sent 6 years earlier, and decided it might not have been the best idea, and cancelled the friend request. Thinking he avoided a confrontation… he woke up the next morning to a text with a screenshot of the cancelled friend request and the message “Pussy.” And now you’re invited to the wedding 😉

“Semi-Formal”/“Cocktail Attire”: Cocktail to floor length dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, jackets (not required) and slacks. These are just guidelines, as more than anything, we just want you there to celebrate with us and have a great time, so please dress as you feel comfortable.
Apparently it needs to be said, but please do not wear a white dress.. No other color is off limits. We even encourage everyone to wear the wedding color, dark green, if the option is available to you. The ceremony will take place on grass, and the venue has requested that guests do not wear stiletto heals that could puncture the soft ground. The reception will take place underneath a pavilion with covered sides, and heaters will be rented as needed. As the PNW is known for being a bit moody, we recommend bringing a jacket just in case the winds pick up. “Dance ready” footwear is highly encouraged.
