Some people spend years searching for the right person. We found each other when we least expected it. It all started with what was supposed to be an ordinary night. Paulina had been invited by mutual friends to a Marine's house, where she met Eric, a guy wearing a raccoon T-shirt that read "Rizz 'Em with the Tism" while holding a Coors Light. It wasn't exactly love at first sight... but it didn't take long for either of us to realize there was something different about this. Conversation came easily. So did the laughter. Before we knew it, one evening together turned into another, and then another. Somehow, spending time together became the easiest part of our days. Life quickly settled into its own rhythm. Beach sunsets, softball nights, football weekends, late-night drives, and spontaneous adventures became our favorite way to spend time together. It was never about grand gestures—it was the little moments that made us fall in love. The more time we spent together, the more it felt like we'd somehow known each other long before we actually met. When Eric decided he wanted to spend forever with Paulina, he did what felt right in the moment. Sharing Culver's cheese curds, he asked the biggest question of his life while sitting together in the car. Only days later, we were married. Our story may have moved quickly, but it has never felt rushed. Every step has simply felt like the next one we were meant to take together. A little over a year later, while watching the sunrise from our cruise balcony in Belize, still in our pajamas and sharing breakfast by the ocean, Eric surprised Paulina with an upgraded ring and asked her to marry him all over again. Looking back, it's funny how an ordinary night changed everything. Now we're so grateful to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who have supported us, encouraged us, and loved us along the way. We are excited to celebrate our journey by saying "I do" all over again on November 22, 2026, our two-year wedding anniversary.
