5:00 pm - 5:45 pm
Garden / Outdoor Wedding — romantic, soft, and slightly relaxed. Think flowy dresses, florals or soft colors, and comfortable sandals or low heels.
Our ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. You’re welcome to arrive a little early to grab a beverage and find your seat. Guests may arrive as early as 4:15, though the wedding party will still be taking photos during that time — thank you for giving us that space. There will be plenty of chances for photos with us later in the evening. We’re also having an unplugged ceremony. We love you, but we really don’t want our photographer spending hours editing out phones and rogue elbows. We promise to share the professional photos afterward — enjoy the moment with us.

Hotel
Located down the street from our home, this hotel rests in the neighborhood that has held so many of our memories. Staying here lets you experience the backdrop of our everyday love story.
Bride
Hi! I'm Mercedes, but you should know that if you're here. I'm the bride, which feels fake but also very correct. I work an office job, but my real specialties are overthinking the small things, underthinking the big things, laughing at my own jokes, and somehow making everything a little chaotic (in a fun way...mostly). Christian and I met in school, but didn't start dating until a couple years after graduating, not sure why we needed to take the scenic route. It all worked out though, because now I get to marry my best friend, and that feels like a pretty perfect ending.
Groom
Hi, I'm Christian — apparently the groom. I like to keep things simple, which is why my role in this whole wedding process is a very supportive one while Mercedes turns mild chaos into something beautiful. We didn’t rush into dating; we just let life take the scenic route. At some point along the way, I realized I’d accidentally fallen for the funniest, most magnetic person I’ve ever met. She still manages to throw me off balance just by walking into a room. Now I get to marry my best friend — even if she insists on calling this the “perfect ending.” Personally, I’m pretty sure it’s just the beginning.
Maid of Honor
This is Tyler, my Maid of Honor and best friend. She’s been in my life for over half of it at this point and has seen every version of me, yet somehow still chose to stick around. Through every phase, every decision (good and questionable), and everything in between, she's always been there. Tyler is loyal, funny, and the kind of person you want by your side no matter what. I couldn't imagine this day without her.
Best Man
This is Josh, Christian’s Best Man and his true day one. He’s the baby of the group, but somehow still manages to be one of the most lovable, steady presences in Christian’s life. He’s been around through every phase, every plan, and every questionable decision two teenage boys could dream up, and he’s never stopped showing up. Josh is loyal, funny, and the kind of friend who feels like home no matter how much time passes. We’re so glad he’s here with us.
Bridesmaid
This is Isabelle, one of my bridesmaids and someone who matches my chaos in the best possible way. Our brains operate on the same wavelength — to the point where talking to her sometimes feels like talking to a mirror — and she’s become one of the best listeners and most grounding people in my life. She’s steady, hilarious, and the kind of friend who just gets it without needing the whole backstory. Everything about our friendship feels natural, easy, and earned. I’m so glad she’s standing with me.
Groomsman
This is Garrett — Christian’s first roommate and the man who witnessed the full unfiltered chaos of his early twenties. He lived through the questionable décor, the even more questionable meals, and the kind of problem‑solving that should never be repeated. He’s seen Christian at his best, his worst, and his “please don’t tell anyone about this” moments. Garrett is steady, sharp‑witted, and the friend who shows up without hesitation. Having him here is like bringing a piece of the origin story.
Bridesmaid
This is Kaylie, one of my bridesmaids and the best birthday gift I’ve ever accidentally received. We met on my birthday a couple years ago and somehow went from strangers to “let’s thrift and Renaissance‑faire our hearts out” in record time. She shares my whimsical, nerdy side — the part of me that’s always down to game or dress up, wander, and fully embrace our inner little goblins without shame. Even though we’ve only known each other for a little while, she’s become one of the brightest, most joyful parts of my life. I’m so happy she’s standing with me.
Groomsman
This is Quinn, one of Christian’s groomsmen and one of my oldest friends. We started lifting together back in high school, where he’d yell “come on, Mercedes” across the gym like it was his full‑time job — and honestly, he’s been encouraging me ever since. He’s the friend who has woven himself into our lives in the most effortless way — someone who shows up, stays connected, and makes the distance between us feel like nothing. With Kaylie, he fits even more naturally into our little circle. Quinn is steady, loyal, and one of the easiest people to love. We’re so glad he’s here with us.
Bridesmaid
This is Stephanie, one of my bridesmaids and one of the most effortlessly fun people I know. She has this fearless, spontaneous spark that amazes me every time. On top of being smart, pretty, buff, and a real girl’s girl, she’s an incredible mom to her son. She brings laughter, light, and just the right amount of delightful chaos everywhere she goes. Stephanie is a lovable menace in the most charming, magnetic way — the kind of person who will hype up everything about you. I’m so glad she’s standing with me.
Groomsman
This is Michael, one of Christian’s groomsmen and our unofficial third roommate who’s been part of our lives for about five‑ish years. He’s seen every stage of our relationship — the sweet moments, the chaotic ones, and the “we’re not actually arguing, we’re just loud” ones — and somehow still chose to stick around. Through every phase, every questionable decision, and every late‑night takeout order, he’s been there. Michael is steady, funny, and the kind of person you want in your corner no matter what. We’re so glad he’s here with us.
Officiant & Father of the Bride
This is my dad, the wonderfully goofy dude we’ve asked to officiate our wedding — mostly because he’s the perfect mix of heartfelt and hilarious, and just responsible enough to make sure we actually get married. He stepped into my life at exactly the right time, bringing steady support, good advice, and a sense of humor that always lands when I need it most. He’s listened, guided, and encouraged me through so many chapters, and I’m genuinely happy — and proud — to be his daughter. Having him lead this moment for us feels fitting, and honestly perfect. We couldn’t imagine anyone better standing up there with us.
Father of the Groom
This is Christian’s dad — the man who taught him half his jokes, most of his stubbornness, and a good chunk of his charm. He’s fun, easy to be around, and has this way of making every gathering feel lighter just by showing up. He’s been cheering Christian on through every chapter, offering support, perspective, and the kind of dad‑level humor that somehow always lands. Having him here with us to celebrate means so much, and we’re grateful for the role he’s played in shaping the man Christian is today.
Mother of the Bride
This is my mom, the woman walking me down the aisle — because if anyone has earned that honor, it’s her. She’s a full‑on force of nature: all strength, heart, humor, and “I’ll handle it” energy, the kind of woman who made a thousand sacrifices look effortless and still managed to raise me with love and grit. She’s the one who shaped me, steadied me, and showed me what real strength wrapped in warmth looks like. Walking with her isn’t just symbolic — it’s the most fitting way to honor everything she poured into getting me here. I couldn’t imagine anyone else by my side for this moment.
Mother of the Groom
This is Tina, the mother of the groom — and truly one of the most fun, big‑hearted people you’ll ever meet. She has this way of making everyone around her feel welcomed, cared for, and instantly at ease, and she brings that same warmth into every part of her life. She’s supported Christian through every chapter with love, laughter, and a kind of steady presence that makes you feel like everything’s going to be okay. Having her here with us, celebrating this moment, means more than we can put into words.
