In May of 2022, we both found ourselves looking to get back into the dating scene again. After not having much luck with the traditional way of meeting someone, we decided to try Hinge, a dating app. We both were very apprehensive and guarded – having heard horror stories about dating sites and not knowing if the person on the other side is ‘really’ who they say they are. After texting for a few weeks, we decided to go on our first date and the rest is history! From numerous late night gaming sessions to the Las Vegas strip to sipping Pina Coladas in the Bahamas, we finally found true happiness. We discovered we have so many similarities. We truly enjoyed one another’s company so much that whenever we were together – time flew by. We found ourselves always wanting to be together. It was implausible – we found each other, our “person” on a dating app! Teay has been my rock in every sense since we made the commit to be together. Bruce has been my confidant. We are each other’s “best friend”. Fast forward and to my surprise, Bruce got down on his knee with my beloved dog, Nova, on August 7th, 2025, at Gloucester Township Community Park in Sicklerville, New Jersey and asked me to marry him! The engagement ring was perfectly designed and even had a more special touch engraved inside the band – the initials and birth date of my late father, who I love and miss immensely. She is my “peace” – He is my “calm”. We are made for one another! We cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together.
