Absolutely! We'll have dancing and dessert on the deck after the ceremony and a shared meal. What should I wear?
Answer
Dress comfortably, wear florals, and let's make more beautiful memories together in our garden! . Women: think light, airy fabrics, floral prints, and soft pastels or earth tones. Flowing dresses, skirts, or jumpsuits will perfect your elegance. Stylish flats, block heels, or wedges will keep you steady on your feet as you explore the garden and shake your booty. Men: floral prints or pastel linen shirts offer charm and sophistication. A lightweight linen jacket or blazer is optional -- your comfort is first priority. Consider chinos, nice jeans, or light-colored dress pants. Put on your dancing shoes! Everyone: We'll be outside -- show off your shades and bring your bonnets! Consider a light layer such as a shawl, sweater, or light jacket if cooler weather is predicted.

Parking is limited. Please carpool where possible, we will have valet to assist in parking management.

Yes, upon arrival there will be light appetizers and sparkling wine. After the ceremony, we will have a full meal and open bar before dancing and dessert.

Children generally enjoy walking around the property and gardens. We will not provide childcare.

Blue Ridge Kitchen
Sonoma-style Southern. Good cocktails, fried chicken; a nice shrimp Louie. Reservations recommended on OpenTable. Downtown Sebastopol -- Barlow ~15 min.
Bird & The Bottle
Small share plates, great craft cocktails. Reservations recommended on OpenTable. Santa Rosa ~30 min.
Goldfinch
Our latest downtown addition in the old K&L space and we love it. Modern American bistro, lovely food and cocktails. Reservations on OpenTable or sit at the bar. Downtown Sebastopol ~15 min.
Handline
A radically upgraded California drive-in with terrific fish tacos, fries, and local produce. Beer and wine. Order at counter and find a seat. South of town ~10 min.
Khom Loi
Farm-to-table Thai, one of two restaurants owned by our neighbor to the north (Ramen Gaijin is the other). Everything is amazing, though the regular spice is on the spicy side. Wines, ciders, beer. Reserve on Resy. The patio is nice. North of Sebastopol ~15 min.
Ramen Gaijin
Farm-to-table ramen joint, with excellent craft cocktails, incredible kara-age (grown-up fried chicken), and homemade pickles. Reserve on Resy and ask for Table 2. Downtown Sebastopol (and around the corner from ice cream!) ~ 15 min.
The Redwood
New-ish natural wine shop and bar with limited but lovely farm-to-table menu. Ryan and Geneva are the owners. Funky crowd. No reservations. Downtown Sebastopol ~15 miin.
Screamin' Mimi's
The one and only place for ice cream in Sebastopol. Take out pints on the side. Our favorites: White Tiger, Mimi’s Mud, Pretzilla. Downtown Sebastopol ~15 min.
Street Social
https://www.streetsocial.social/ Jevon is the cook and his wife Marjorie the front-of-house; the food is amazing and the music will take you back. Reserve on Resy and sit inside so you can watch the action. Downtown Petaluma ~35 min.
Sushi Kosho
Best sushi in town in our opinion; Jake is the owner. Rolls are terrific. Wine, sake, beer. Reserve on OpenTable. Downtown Sebastopol – Barlow ~15min.
Underwood Bar and Bistro
Upscale restaurant and bar offering classic bistro dishes, often with an Asian flair. Wonderful craft cocktails. Reservations: call 707.823.7023. Graton ~25 min.
Freeman Vineyard & Winery
We met Akiko (winemaker) and Ken shortly after we finished building the house. Their Pinot Noirs are fantastic and Akiko has been doing some fabulous experiments with other varietals. Tasting reservations required – email Ken and mention us ken@freemanwinery.com. About a 20 minute drive towards the coast.
Iron Horse Vineyards
Our favorite local sparkling wine producer. A bit north of Graton. Tasting reservations are required. About ~30 min, with the last part on a narrow road.
Merry Edwards Winery
Merry was a pioneering woman winemaker who introduced some innovative Pinot Noir clones to Sonoma Valley. Definitely an amazing tasting experience. The Sauvignon Blanc is Dorothy’s favorite wine; they use a French method of stirring the lees. Also some nice late harvest wines. Reservations essential. ~20 min north of town.
St. Francis Winery & Vineyards
Bigger reds and a beautiful setting; the paired food and wine tasting is really fun with daily options at 11:00 and 2:00 pm. Reservations necessary on their website, stfranciswinery.com. ~35 min drive towards the Valley of the Moon.
