We will be sending out official invitations to the wedding 3 months in advance. RSVP’s are needed 8 weeks in advance, by April 21, 2025. If anything changes after you RSVP we understand that things sometimes come up. However, we ask that if at all possible no one cancels less than 3 weeks before the wedding day.
You have until April 21, 2025 to reserve your room at the Beau Rivage. After that date, we will cancel all remaining room reservations that are unspoken for or unclaimed.
No, you do not have to stay at the Beau Rivage Golf resort. We chose this resort only because our welcome brunch and reception are being hosted here and the photos will be beautiful. There are many other awesome properties along the ocean front that you can venture to look at as options as well. We only ask that you keep in mind the times of the events and we will love seeing you once you arrive.
We have added a plus one count to all of our guests that are married or in long term commitments. Your invitation will indicate if that applies to you. If your invitation does not include a plus one then no, we will simply not have the space to accommodate.
Currently we have accounted for all small children of friends and family traveling from outside of the state. If you are local to NC , we ask that you make child care arrangements, if possible. We will have a small reception on the veranda and there will not be a lot of space for children to run and play. However, for children that do come we will have a children’s table arranged.
We really hope it DOES NOT! Rain on a wedding day is a brides worst nightmare! Especially for a beach wedding. However, if rain is in the forecast we will do our best to work around it. We may move the ceremony up to the early afternoon for example if there is rain coming in the evening. We will keep all of you posted on any changes via email. Please make sure that your email address is included in your initial Information form submission for communication purposes throughout the process and through the wedding day.
We have went a little outside of tradition and have chosen to not have a traditional wedding party for multiple reasons, but mainly to keep things simple. Not only did we want to simplify things for us but also for you as our guest. We want you to relax, enjoy and celebrate with us and take time to enjoy the beautiful beach town of Wrightsville. We do encourage you all to wear our wedding colors lavender or sage so that we can take great photos and make even better memories.
Please enter the first and last name of one member of your party below.
If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group on the next page.
Bride
Melanie has known Tevin since she moved to Charlotte to start a new journey in 2020. She knew it was love at first sight and that she would marry him from the very first date. She has always imagined herself having a beautiful beach wedding and now here we are!
Groom
Tevin met Melanie upon moving to Charlotte, after ending his time served in the US Navy. He’s traveled the world from Japan, to Australia and somehow landed in the same place as Melanie at the exact same time. We call it destiny. He loves traveling, family bike rides and has a deeply intrinsic relationship with animals that Melanie refers to as his “Dr.Dolittle Affect”.
Ring Bearer
Julian Lewis is 15 years old, and a rising sophomore in High school. He will be Tevin’s support and ring bearer. He loves hanging out with his friends, watching classic movies and reading graphic novels. He is his Mom’s biggest fan and couldn’t be more happy for her and Tevin
Flower Girl
Leilani Nicole will be supporting the bride in her role of flower girl. She is the fire ball of the family and keeps everyone on their toes. This girl has beauty and brains, she is a fierce protector of her family and loves animals (which is a common interest she shares with Tevin) She dreams to be a veterinarian one day and loves food more then life itself, especially Sushi!
