Semi formal. Wear whatever makes you feel sparkly on the inside! We're going to be outside in the woods, so plan your footwear accordingly.
Please arrive by 3:30pm, as the ceremony starts promptly at 4pm.

SMF is 1 hr 30 mins away, RNO is 1 hr 50 mins. Both are small and easy to navigate.

Lots of options in our neighborhood (Cascade Shores) and the surrounding area. Be aware if you get a place on the north side of Scott's Flat Reservoir (i.e., off HWY 20) the only way to get to our house is down through town and back up the mountain! Close as a crow flies doesn't necessarily mean a short drive!

Come camp with us at the wedding venue, our house! Please let us know if you plan to tent camp for a few nights, as spaces are filling up.

There are so many accommodation options in Nevada City and Grass Valley within a 20 minute drive to our house! We've never stayed in any but here are a few that look decent at a glance: Gold Creek Inn, Piety Hill Cottages, Broad Street Inn, Moonrise on Mill Street Inn, National Exchange Hotel, Two Room Inn, Holbrooke Hotel, Gold Miner's Inn, Grass Valley Courtyard and Suites, Best Western.

When should I RSVP?
Answer
Please RSVP asap after receiving your invitation! If your invite is still unanswered by September 6th we will assume you are not attending.

Are kids invited?
Answer
No. This is strictly an adult only wedding. Find a babysitter and take the night off! Thanks for your understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
If your invitation includes a plus one, then yes. If not, then no. Contact us if you have a special circumstance. We would like to keep our wedding as intimate as possible.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Ceremony starts promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive with enough time to park, grab a drink, maybe mingle a bit, and find a seat.

Where should I park?
Answer
If you are not staying the night, please park on the street (Gold Bug Rd/Sailor Flat Rd). We'd like to have everyone park on the same side so cars can still pass by. Someone will be directing parking before the ceremony.

What to wear?
Answer
Our wedding is in the woods, so while not black tie, we ask for elevated attire (semi formal) that compliments the natural beauty of our surroundings. Think dressy but practical. Please wear sensible shoes for the terrain, expect grass and dirt.

We are looking to collect memories instead of material items. If you would like to contribute to our honeymoon fund to Switzerland or our fire safety house hardening projects such as a new roof and concrete siding that is of most help to us.

Do I need to attend all the events of the weekend?

Please feel no pressure at all to attend everything. Enjoy what you wish to enjoy!
