Our journey began in the digital world, where we were both searching for the same things: genuine care, deep affection, and a love that felt like home. We finally met in person on June 30th - her birthday, which turned a special day into an unforgettable anniversary. It’s been a "two-cake" celebration ever since! We still laugh about that first date; she looked gorgeous in dark pink, and I (the groom) wore a black shirt that, apparently, had a mind of its own. Her very first impression wasn't just my smile - it was the tiny glimpse of my tummy peeking through the buttons of my shirt! Despite the "button incident" and me bringing my own water bottle to a date, we both felt a spark. By August 10th, the feeling was so mutual that we both proposed to each other, knowing we’d found our person. The early days tested us with an 85km gap, a distance that felt like a vast space we had to bridge. We had our doubts about how a "long-distance" routine would work, but we chose to make that distance our strength. Our weekly meetups - whether we were out on an adventure or simply doing absolutely nothing together - became the heartbeat of our relationship. That 85km drive soon became a routine we both looked forward to every single weekend. It proved that no matter how many kilometers Google Maps put between us, we were always going to find our way back to each other’s side. If there is one thing that truly defines "us," it’s our obsession with food. Our relationship has been one long, delicious tour of Malaysia, from hunting down the best bowls at Good Taste to surviving the heat at HotBird. We’ve traveled near and far just to try new dishes, sticking together through thick, thin, and very spicy. In the middle of our adventures, she’ll often look at me and ask, "Do you really love me?" and being the space geek I am, I always give her my favorite answer: "I love you to the furthest star and back." Of course, she usually just laughs and responds, "No, you lie!" But through every galaxy and every meal, our love remains limitless, everlasting, and very real.
