Taylor & RoyLyn met how all the cool kids meet these days, on a dating app. Woo, Bumble! It was a question prompt on RoyLyn's profile that drew Taylor to him instantly. His go-to song was "The Girl" by City & Colour. It's just one of those songs that not a lot of people know. It was the perfect opening line for Taylor to reach out by messaging something along the lines of, "That was the first song I learned to play and sing on guitar :) ." It was just a week of conversation before they decided they needed to meet in real life. It was a Wednesday evening in Venice. Delicious food was had and they scoured each other's Spotify playlists. It was the end of the date that really hooked RoyLyn when Taylor made him laugh for the whole walk to her car. A Wednesday in Venice led to a Saturday eating vegan food in Long Beach which led to a Sunday co-working in a coffee shop in Los Angeles. Their chemistry was incredible. Every free moment was directed toward each other until everything changed. The global pandemic shut down the world. Right on the edges of a brand new relationship, they went apocalyptic grocery shopping for two weeks of food hoping everything would be over. In the midst of so much fear and turmoil for the world, Taylor & RoyLyn were falling in love. Their new challenge was navigating a new relationship without any outside influences or much to do!
