Our Story

We met in 2018 at The Keg Steakhouse on Tash’s very first shift. Tash was working as a hostess, and Taylor was a server who quickly became known for spending a little too much time hanging around the hostess stand — often getting himself in trouble for it. There was an instant connection that quickly turned into spending nearly every day together exploring the city, planning our next adventure, and before long, becoming best friends. When summer rolled around, we spent almost every Monday through Wednesday at Taylor’s family cottage canoeing around Lac Edja — or more accurately, Taylor rowing while Tash handled the very important responsibilities: music and drinks. Travel quickly became a big part of our relationship. Our first country together was Vietnam, where Taylor flew out to meet Tash and Bree during their four-month trip through Asia. Fast forward a few years (and a lot of passport stamps) later, and we found ourselves in the middle of the Swiss Alps — our 22nd country together — when Taylor got down on one knee and proposed. A dream come true and the start of our next adventure together.
