Who knew a Bumble intro message of, "what's your guilty pleasure song?", would lead to countless dates, laughs, visits to the barn, lacrosse games, trips up and down 81, and soon a walk down the aisle. First drinks at Durty Nelly's can in fact lead to love and for the record Julia's reply was "Hit Me Baby One More Time".
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
This event is casual and will be in our backyard! Please come ready to spend time outside on an August evening. Most importantly, we are looking forward to spending time with our favorite people and sharing a small glimpse of our world with those we love.
There will be a few lite bites and cocktails to choose from. Please call or text for our address.
5:00 pm - 5:30 pm
This event is elevated summer formal so please come dressed to impress. Most importantly please wear what makes you feel your best- linen suit, dark suits, summer florals, long dresses, short dresses, two-piece sets, etc. Please avoid wearing white as to not be confused for one of the brides.
There will be pre-ceremony cider and oysters to keep you refreshed and excited to celebrate Julia and Taylor.
5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Please promptly be in your seat by 5:30 pm.
Cocktail hour and a plated dinner to follow the ceremony. The faster that you are in your seat the faster that we can eat and get to the dance floor.

Officiant
John is now the official Moy family wedding officiant after his amazing work at Maria and Steve’s LA wedding a few years back. Prep both tissues and laughter, and thank him for keeping it short in the August heat!
Matron of Honor
Julia's older sister (we won't say by how much), and an incredible author and speech-giver joining us from Oregon with our favorite brother-in-law, Steve. Ask her about her book that will hit the shelves next year!
Maid of Honor
A coworker turned best friend and an absolute icon--beloved by both brides. We truly would be lost without her planning powers.
Bridesmaid
The vegetarian of the crew, so thank her for the choice of veggie meal! Chrissy and Julia started as NICU best friends and she will forever be the night shift bestie no matter where we work.
Bridesman
Paul met Julia when he was an hour and ten minutes old, and Julia has never known a life without Paul. The twin and favorite brother, joining us from Colorado with our little flower child.
Bridesmaid
The first time Julia and Julie ever hung out was at a 3 day camping music festival called Red Wing Roots. Julia showed up with nothing but a tiny tent and a sleeping bag, and Julie, Carly and Sul saved her for the weekend with lended chairs and food. They’ve been Festy family ever since!
Flower Child
Julia's favorite niece! Will she make it down the aisle? We hope so, but either way you'll all be obsessed with this adorable ginger girly pop.
Bridesmaid
Taylor met Jordan in 1993 when she was just four months old and they have been cousin besties ever since. The two have a fond love of sports, Jeeps, cats, and can often be found at a winery, or wanting to go to a winery.
Bridesmaid
Taylor's cousin and best friend since before elementary school. The Class of 2011 at Monticello High School voted them as "Girls Most Seen Together". They've been seen together ever since.
Bridesmaid
Everyone's favorite Head Basketball Coach. Taylor and Aby attend college together at the University of Mary Washington and then later were both assistant coaches at Shenandaoh University together.
Bridesman
Connor and Taylor have been friends since high school and both were student athletes at Mary Washington before Connor transferred to Roanoke College. After college the two were roommates with fellow bridesman, Malkam Martin.
Bridesman
Taylor, Jordan and Malkam have been hanging toghther since 2001 when they began their elite sports career on the Lakers coached by Charlottesville's very own Tabor Martin. Following their Lakers careers they grew up to be close friends and roommates.
We encourage guests to wear formal, seasonal attire. For women this includes long, tea-length, or midi dresses. For men, this includes elevated linen suits or dark suites and ties (please, no jeans or shorts). Anyone wearing white will be escorted out. We have security. We are not joking. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.
Please arrive no later than 5:00 pm or you may miss out on oysters, cider, and pre-ceremony merriment.
We love all your kids, but this is an adult-only wedding with the exception of a few teen cousins and our little flower girl. Please use our wedding as a great excuse to turn up on a date night!
