Proximity: It's located just about 10-15 minutes (around 8 miles) from downtown Chattanooga. This makes for a very quick and easy commute to hotels, attractions, and other parts of the city. Ease of Use: CHA is a smaller, regional airport, which often means shorter lines, quicker check-ins, and a generally less stressful travel experience compared to larger international hubs. Rental Cars & Taxis/Rideshares: Rental car agencies are available directly at the airport, and taxis and rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are readily accessible.

Distance: Approximately 120 miles south of Chattanooga. Drive Time: About 2 hours (without heavy traffic, which Atlanta is known for).

Distance: Approximately 140 miles northwest of Chattanooga. Drive Time: About 2 hours and 15 minutes to 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Take a short drive to experience classic attractions like the underground waterfall at Ruby Falls, the massive rock formations and views at Rock City Gardens, or the super-steep Incline Railway. Tickets: Tickets for each attraction are sold separately. Booking online in advance is recommended, especially for Ruby Falls and Rock City. Getting around: Driving between attractions takes approximately 15 minutes. Parking is available at each site.
This popular two-day event features over 30 food trucks, craft beer and other drinks, live music, and lawn games. It's a great way to spend an afternoon outdoors enjoying local flavors and entertainment.
Walk across one of the world's longest pedestrian bridges. It connects downtown to the vibrant Northshore district and offers beautiful views of the Tennessee River and Coolidge Park.
Visit the historic terminal station, which is now a hotel complex with restaurants, bars, and shops. You can even see original train cars on the tracks.
