A Sangeet is a fun pre-wedding welcome party in Indian culture with lots of music and dancing. Family and friends perform dances, give speeches, and celebrate together. It’s a joyful night full of energy and excitement before the wedding! Come hungry and thirsty—we’ve got dinner and an open bar waiting for you!
5:15 pm - 9:00 pm
Indian Formal or Western Formal
Although traditionally held in the morning, we have chosen to host the Indian ceremony in the evening to take advantage of the cooler late afternoon temperatures. The event begins with most guests joining the Baraat, a celebratory procession during which guests escort Raj to the ceremony. After the Indian ceremony, a full dinner will be served—please note that since this is a religious event, no alcohol will be provided at this event.
