He replied with "When you know equally as many words to country songs as you do hip hop songs." Tanya quickly replied and started to chat with Jerome. They bantered over Lil' Wayne songs, football teams, and what restaurant Jerome would take Tanya to on their first date. Once this said date FINALLY happened, the rest was history. Well, the rest was really history three months later when Tanya made it official at one of Jerome's work events by introducing herself to Jerome's colleagues as "Jerome's girlfriend". Luckily, he embraced the title, even though the two had not yet discussed the exclusivity of their relationship. Two years later, Jerome popped the big question and Tanya said "Yes!".
