Knowing each other for years and being friends for awhile we decided to take the plunge into something deeper on November 18th of 2017 and haven’t looked back since. In our years of friendship we have found that sometimes lives align and love is deeper after being the voice of reason for so many years ahead and so many to come so finally Jordan says to me in a late night text conversation miles away living in Nevada at the time “I’ve gotta make you mine before someone else does and you’re gone forever.” He spent that night packing his things and traveling through the night just to take me on a date. We spent many of our first dates grabbing burgers and heading to the lake to watch the sunrise.

In our relationship things have never been traditional or conventional. After a birthday party we threw for him we went driving around talking and listening to music (he loves to sing *NSYNC to me) like we did most times in our relationship he says to me in the middle of his jam session Will you marry me? “Is this guy serious” I mean we were just kids and who thought this was forever we were just simply enjoying each other. So I jokingly say yes thinking nothing of it. Well I was wrong to joke because here we are living and loving. (I hope he knows what he’s getting into.)
