We met in 2019 on a joint trip to Loreto Mexico. Tara and Sean's families shared a mutual connection to the Goldstein family and were joining a trip to Loreto Mexico to visit their family. As Sean would later quote "When I saw Tara at the airport for the first time, rays of sunshine draped over her, and I couldn't help but stare at her beauty." Later on, in the same year Tara and Sean would continue to grow their friendship while attending classes at the Washington State University Vancouver campus. Their friendship continued to blossom until Covid-19 struck! Tara and Sean would lose connection and not speak to one another for the next year and a half. Then, in early January 2021 Tara would reach back out to Sean, re-igniting their old friendship. However, Sean knew he wanted to be more than just friends with Tara. Sean asked Tara out and she said no. He asked her out again, and she still said no. Tara told Sean she wanted to be single for at least 6 more months as she had promised that to herself in the previous year. Sean, however, remembered that his mom didn’t raise no quitter, and he knew he wanted to date Tara. He asked her out again and she finally said yes! One date led to another, and another, and finally after 5 amazing years together they are ready to get married!
