Sierra Sol is a 20-acre hilltop retreat with accommodations that include a mix of cabins, yurts, vintage trailers, and canvas tents. The property is close to Oregon Creek, the Middle Fork of the Yuba River, and Bullards Bar Reservoir. We’ve reserved the entire property for 26 of our favorite people to gather and celebrate our marriage in the Sierra foothills.

How do I get there?

Answer

The address in 15419 Old Toll Road, Camptonville, Ca 95922. **IMPORTANT** Please take Marysville Road to Old Toll Road. DO NOT take Moonshine Road to Old Toll Road. It is not a through road. There is a county maintained dirt road to get to the property. It does not require 4x4 even when wet.

Where do I park?

Answer

Upon arrival, you are welcome to pull up to the right of the main cabin and grab a cart to unload items to the kitchen and your dwelling. Then park so the next guest can use the cart and accessible space.

I can't come until later on Friday, is that ok?

Answer

Yes, we prefer everyone shows up on the scheduled time but if you have to work, no worries. Please just let us know before hand if you plan on arriving later in Friday.

Where will I sleep?

Answer

We will tell you the lodging you will have upon arrival - whether it be a cabin or yurt. We will keep family members and couples together. Guests coming alone will be roomed together (2-3 guests per dwelling). If you are traveling alone and do not want to sleep with someone else, you are welcome to bring a tent or sleep in your truck. Please tell us ahead of time if that is the case.

Tell me about the accommodations. Do I need to bring blankets or pillows?

Answer

In every dwelling there will be 1-2 beds clean sheets and warm blankets, pillows, a fan or mini swamp cooler, table/chairs, at least one outlet and solar lights for the canvas tents - more outlets for the sites with walls.

Are there showers available?

Answer

Yes - 3 outdoor showers, 3 outdoor tubs (not very private) and a full bath in the main cabin.

What will I eat and drink?

Answer

We will provide dinner for both nights but are asking guests to bring their own food for breakfast and lunch for both Saturday and Sunday. You are welcome to: Store food in the communal refrigerators Use the full kitchen to cook and prep meals Coordinate with friends or keep it simple

What cooking equipment is present?

Answer

Grill over firepit, BBQs (1 propane and 1 smoker), oven, stovetop, pizza oven, fridge, freezer, cookware, cooking utensils, dishware, cutlery, basic seasoning and oils, sink and dishwashing station. T There is a kitchen in the main cabin and an outdoor kitchen. The oudoor kitchen is much bigger and shared. Both have stove and fridge.

Please bring beverages (alcoholic or NA) for the weekend. We will provide beverages at both dinners (alcoholic and NA). If you plan on drinking otherwise (during the day or after-dinner party), please bring your own beverages. You are welcome to coordinate with friends or family. There is a kegerator... just saying...

Answer

Grocery stores are located far away from the property. We recommend planning accordingly.

Wifi is available but cell coverage depends on provider.

Is there a dress code for the Saturday Dinner?

Answer

Please dress nice but practical — think dresses, collared shirts, or something you feel good in. No suits or formal gowns.

Please do not bring any additional guests unless told otherwise.
